Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter - PlayStation 2

It has a good survival atmosphere. Story is a little bit lacking... but the true ending is great. This is the most underrated Breath of Fire game in the series. This is more appreciated by an older teen/adult audience due to the amount of planning and strategy. Children will probably struggle very hard with this game. Especially at the beginning. The game came to me in perfect new condition sealed in plastic. It comes with a single page pamphlet. Disc was immaculate. Price was fair. I would recommend to friends!

Works fine

Game came in great condition, reminded me how hard this game was all those years ago but I love a challenge! The story is awesome and pulls you in, so you want to try and make it as far as the possible before you even think of restarting.

I love the Breath Of Fire series. Having finished Breath Of Fire 1, 2, and 4, I found it hard to get into this game as it's nothing at all like the rest of the series and it's fairly difficult. If you really like rpgs and you can find this game for like ten bucks or less and don't mind following a guide online every step of the way, then pick this up and give it a try. Otherwise leave it alone.

I played every game in the series before this one. At first, I was a little annoyed that like BoF4 the developers had steered away from the plot of 1-3. However, this game offers alot of original gaming concepts that aren't found in other games. If you have never played an rpg before, this game WILL eat you alive. The battle system is complex, but only for the first couple of areas. My suggestion, if you buy this game and don't want to follow a walkthrough, is to understand and comprehend the SoL system first. Which is the unique saving system. I did not pay much attention to it until my 3rd new game+. I realized then that the first playthrough would have been much easier if I hadn't tried to rush through the game. Wonderful game.

Make sure you have time whenever you’re sitting down to play this one! So worth it!

Arrived fast,in good condition,and well packaged.plus the price was a very pleasant suprise.in this dystopian world,its nice some things remain efficient and focused on quality, not just accumulating money for moneys sake.well done you people behind the scenes who make it all work.😁

This is a huge PoS that is nothing like its family. This game sucks so damn bad it killed the series, literally. This should never had been made and I hope those involved went to local forests to never be seen again.

I like replaying this game, but starting over all the time is difficult.

Received my copy from JVM, the condition was really great, especially considering the price. came with; original cover art, manual and the disk which was in mint condition. Despite the fan backlash this game received when it came out, if you were the remove the "breath of fire" from the tittle, Dragon Quarter stands well as a unique rouge-like/dungeon crawling game. The animations, atmosphere and story are really great. I can see that's it's not everyone's cup of java but I think it's definitely worth a shot.
