Smelled horrible. I can’t even describe the smell but my little guy loved it so I washed it 5 times with Downy Unstoppables and the smell finally went away.

My son is in 6th grade this year, and anime is all the rage right now. I picked up this backpack for him, not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised! Initially, there was a hiccup with the first bag not arriving, but the seller was responsive and sent out a replacement, although it took a little time. Once we received it, I was impressed with the design. The backpack features a spacious main compartment with a handy inside pocket that helps keep things organized. All the zippers feel strong and the material is definitely durable, which is a plus for a school bag. One feature I found interesting is the hidden charger compartment—it does require you to provide your own portable USB charger to really make it useful, but it’s a nice addition nonetheless. The lock that comes with it, while decent, only provides basic security; it could keep out an honest person, but I wouldn’t count on it for serious protection. Additionally, it comes with a matching pencil pouch, which is a nice touch! Considering the price point and overall quality, I would highly recommend this backpack if you're considering it. If you’re on the fence, you can stop thinking and just go for it—this is a great choice! I’ll make sure to update this review if anything changes in the future.

I like the way it looks it's very bright especially when it's glowing in the dark, the durability is pretty good and the sturdiness holds up. lastly it can definitely hold up things that have water to it.
