KingPavonini Bed Rails for Elderly Adults Safety, 380 LBS, Model BM03-1

I installed these rails on both sides of my king size mattress. After my lumbar spine surgery I needed a way to use my hands and arms to help me roll my body from side to side so I could sleep on either side or on my back. These rails gave me something solid to hold onto and thus helped me to manipulate my body during that rolling process. I am a bit overweight and rolling from side to side was not always an easy task even before my surgery. Since the size of my kingsize mattress only lets me reach one railings at at time, I fastened the supplied strap onto the upper bar with the rubber on it on one of the rails which allows me to grab the strap with my hand. By pulling on the strap I can roll my body onto the side. All this sounds a bit complicated, but it is not and works great. I did not have to strap the rails to the bed frame for stability. I slipped the lower part of the assembled rails between the box sping and the top mattress which holds the rails very solidly. These bed rails are also very useful for getting in and out of the bed. The rails are of good quality and are very easy to assemble. The part of the rails that slips between the mattress and the box spring is adjustable; I fully extended it for good stability when positioned between the mattresses. The vertical part of the rails is also adjustable to accommodate different thicknesses of mattresses. I am very happy to have found these rails at Amazon, they have made it much easier to move/roll my body from side to side and to get in and out of bed. Also, the rails are narrow enough and do not interfere with getting in and out of bed.I can highly recommend to install these rails, they have made my live so much easier. I think the price is a very fair price for these high quality bedrails. Amazon delivered the rails one day after placing the order. How much better can it get.

Third trimester with twins and this has been so helpful! So glad I’ll have it while recovering from my c section. Easy to put together and feels sturdy even without doing the full strap around the bed. Highly recommend

Bought this for my uncle while he was visiting. He’s a stroke patient and struggles with turning in bed, and this rail made a huge difference. It was easy to assemble, slid right under the mattress, and stayed solid on a queen bed. He’s about 250 lbs, and it supported him without shifting. Highly recommend for anyone needing extra stability.

I bought this after an abdominal hysterectomy to help me get in and out of bed. This has been a great purchase and of so much help for me. It’s very sturdy. I have a thick mattress so we didn’t tie it around the bed because our mattress is very heavy by itself. Is working very well so far two weeks in. I weight 175 pounds and would definitely purchase again and recommend to anyone that needs help getting in or out of bed.

This has been an excellent item to help movement in a wide variety of ways. It is sturdy, can be easily gripped and the pocket fabric helps to firmly hold water bottles and other small items. I would recommend purchase. We are moving to an assisted living facility in late September and received word from their insurance company that its design and several others are incompatible for use at the facility. They recommended alternate units that look flimsy and weak if pulled firmly. Unfortunately we will have to relinquish our beloved bed rail.

Easy to assemble. Because it goes so far under the mattress, it seems really stable and it’s strapped in place. No unexpected sliding problems. I was surprised that it has given me such peace of mind. I rolled off the bed once but I didn’t realize how worried I was about it happening again. If you are considering this, it’s worth spending a little more. My last one was less money but nearly useless.

They are great we use them at my work and I bought this for my dad to use at home and he actually says it helps him get out of bed alot easier.

This was just what we needed for an unsteady 90 year old father-in-law. It was easy to set up and seems very sturdy. He was not thinking it was useful at first, but now is very appreciative of the stability it adds.

Llegó un día antes del tiempo estimado, se arma fácil, se instala y queda firme, lo utilicé para cama matrimonial y no puse el cintillo, y la parte que va bajo el colchón la puse en la posición más larga y se siente firme, la compré para mi madre que tiene problemas de rodillas, demencia y en varias ocasiones se ha caído de la cama por no pararse bien o por rodar en la cama, espero que esto nos ayude para que no vuelva a caer.

Los compré para mi madre para su cama que le cuesta trabajo en levantarse. Entonces compré dos y le quedaron perfectos. Además las bolsitas muy cómodas para colocar kleenex, el control de la televisión, etc., Facilitadores para una una persona mayor o enferma que les ayuda de apoyo para poderse levantarse.
