I bought this for my acer aspire A515-55 series and the fit is loose. So you can't really move around to much with it or it will come out of the port. I was really hoping that it would be perfect. I'm going to be returning this unfortunately

I left my charger at a rental house and needed a replacement for my Acer Aspire 5 - A515-45. This charger has the correct voltage output, but a higher amperage output (original charger had 2.37a output and this has 3.42). My research indicated that the computer would only take the amperage it needs, even if more was available, so long as the voltage was correct. The charger worked great and did not overheat my computer. The connecter fit exactly. The price and speed of delivery were key parts of my purchasing decision from this vendor. The charger came with a handy Velcro cord wrapper to keep the cords tidy when packing up.

I bought this when mine started to not engage anymore. It still seems a little loose inside the laptop, but i’m thinking it might have more to do with the internal part of the laptop and not the actual insert itself.

My laptop charger bit the dust. I ordered this one to get my laptop back up and running. It works great but the plug is a tiny bit too small, so it falls out. I tape in on and that helps. Other than that it works perfectly for my Acer A515-54
