great product, an absolute must addition to the one Sharpener. I only use the 1000 grit disk and this. I never use the 400 grit that the Hone comes with

I bought the Hone sharpener with 400# and 1000# grit disks and added the 3000# ceramic disk. I have sharpened my Shun and Jikko knives and I can thoroughly recommend this product. I tried using a wet stone and unless you can get the angle right with consistency it is very difficult. Using the Hone product was easy. It took all the little nicks out of my knives, and I did the paper test to see how well it worked. Amazing!!!

Works ok, but should have been included in the base set, for 170$ CAD, my expectations are high. Good thing you make an awesome line of products!
