This thing is crazy strong, if you see a homeless person with one of these exact poles, stay like 30 ft away. Or anybody really. I could probably throw it half way straight through someone's two inch front door. Amazon probably shouldn't actually sell this, or this cheap...

I love this so much!!! The price is more than fair, I have so much fun using it! My back doesn’t bother me after going around picking up trash. This saves me from having to bend over so much. It picks up pretty much everything. Practice with it and you will develop a technique that works best for you. I highly recommend this to anyone that picks up trash on their block.

Very well constructed. Its fairly strong and doubles as an anti-aggressive dog or possibly a self defense tool while you are walking around (more so as a deterrent than a actual weapon but it sure beats a stick). Its easy to clean after use. Do not use on concrete or asphalt (you'll just damage the tip). However, I do NOT recommend it. It can be difficult to remove trash from the tip. It is useless on glass bottles with lids. I would rather have a grabber-style that can pick up anything and drop anything off of any surface. Worst of all, this thing pokes holes in plastic bottles that contain urine or other nasty stuff.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This trash picker stick has made outdoor cleanups so much easier! It’s lightweight, easy to use, and surprisingly sturdy for picking up light to medium debris like cans, wrappers, and even small branches. The grip at the handle feels comfortable, and the claw has decent precision for grabbing smaller items. Functionality: it struggles a bit with heavier or oddly shaped objects. I also found that the claw can lose a bit of grip after repeated use, especially if you're picking up damp or slick items. It's not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you're using it for large-scale cleanups. Value for money: Overall, it’s a great tool for casual use around the yard or neighborhood — just don’t expect it to handle anything too heavy-duty. Still, for the price, it's definitely worth having one around!
