K LIVING 14" (36cm) Mitcham Tiffany Easy Fit Non Electrical Pendant Light Shade

Superb lampshade. It was reasonably straightforward to fit and the quality is excellent. My standard lightbulb fits perfectly fine and as it’s an LED bulb I don’t have any concerns about it heating the shade. This is the fourth item from the Mitchum range that I have purchased and I am as delighted with this as with the table lamp and downlighting shades too. I was concerned that this one might make the room appear dark but the way it glows is akin to a stained glass window on my ceiling! It’s delightful to look at, cosy and practical too. Worth the money. Highly recommend.

Both lampshades arrived well packed and in perfect condition. I only unpacked one as I wanted to be sure it would look right [as my ceilings are relatively low]. The shade was beautifully hand made and after a lot of fiddling to install it [the problem of not having three arms and sixty fingers as these shades are made of glass and metal, therefore very heavy]. In place, standing directly underneath, it looked stunning, but moving away to one side I could see the glare of the lamp. Not at all the effect I wanted. I immediately contacted Linen and Lamps who agreed to my returning both shades. I used DPD as they had delivered the parcels. I received a full refund a few days later so while I'm really disappointed not having the shades I am more than delighted with the full service received from Linen and Lamps.

Very attractive, solidly (if slightly rustic) made tiffin-style ceiling light shade. Simple to fit. Value for money compared to similar products. It's quite shallow as mentioned in other reviews, so I needed to mount it as high as possible on a ceiling lamp batten (not a pendant) to ensure that the top of the bulb was reasonably out of sight. I've also chosen an 8.5w LED dimmable bulb which has a smaller profile (golf-ball shape), as the space underneath the retaining ring is a little restricted. Note the size and wattage limits in the advert. Very well packed, but packing material is rather crumbly polystyrene - hopefully this company can consider recyclable packaging. Good purchase, can recommend.

This light shade is absolutely stunning when lit up and equally good to look at when the light is off. It arrived well wrapped and protected and was delivered quickly. The quality is excellent, making it good value at this price.

Light is really easy to fit and a lot brighter than the somewhat dark picture shown on Amazon. Quite dramatic and, as a landing light at the top of stairs, is a perfect shield for the light bulb. Really beautiful and quick delivery. Well pleased with it.
