I'm picky about precision and alignment, especially when it comes to my workstation, and I expect the worst of budget furniture off amazon, but I was happy with this one. To get the best result, you MUST leave full tightening of fasteners until the entire joint affected by their alignment is assembled. So if you want your desk surface to be flush across the two pieces, assemble them loosely to the frame on the bottom, to the frame on the sides, and assemble the frame itself loosely. Then align the pieces, and hold them in place as you tighten things up. This is standard assembly practice, btw, nothing new to this item. To do any better they would need costly precision and different materials. I used a drill with an impact driver set to the lowest torque to make it quick and easy. The results are great! No annoying lip between surfaces, a smooth appearance, no wobble. My complaints: One, if you plug the led light strip into the provided USB port for power, it emits a high pitched hum. You can get used to it, it's almost like an old TV. Using a usb plug in one of the outlets minimizes, but doesn't quite eliminate, that. Two, the drawers are as shown in some of the images, but not as shown in the assembly video. There is no side wall, no drawer slides. It is wood on metal, and it does not slide very easily when loaded. Not at all like my previous wood on wood desk, which slid very easily. Perhaps some dry film lubricant is called for. But at least they are wood drawers, not fabric. When I first opened the box I did an inventory using their parts list, marking them all off as I inspected them for the expected scratches and damage that this price range on amazon seems to inevitably come with, but I was happy to find that every part was accounted for, none missing, and none had any blemishes at all. The holes all aligned perfectly. I omitted the keyboard tray because it doesn't fit my chair and I tend to bump them like a fidget toy with my knees, and it works fine without it, it's not structural in any way. My son and I carried it into place, one of us on each end, and there was no sagging even as we carried it. It's not too heavy, but it doesn't feel light, it feels substantial. The black finish on the wood is smooth, good for writing on. I do use a large desk pad for my main work area, but outside of that it seems durable and scratch resistant for normal use. It has adjustable feet on all 8 positions, which really helped because my chair mat for rolling on carpet is too big and sits under two of the inner feet. So extending the other feet down lets it sit in the plush carpet without any wobble or tilt. Overall, I am very happy with it and the price.

This desk is absolutely perfect. The desk is really well constructed and solid. The two drawers on the left side are perfect. The top one has a lock on it for valuables while the bottom drawer has the ability to hang file folders in it which is really convenient. There is a shelf for a tower on the right side with a bonus shelf for storing notebooks and such. My bug monitor looks great on the shelf. The desk is very wide and allows me to spread out my laptop and monitor and not feel crowded at all. The keyboard tray is nice but I wish it was about an inch wider to better accommodate my mouse. It fits, just a little tight. Construction of this desk took me 6 hours from start to finish with a wireless screw gun. There are 29 pages of instructions that although had some broken English in them were fairly easy to follow and explained any normal gotchas. There are a lot of parts and pieces so be warned! It came with all the topls you need to assemble and all the holes lined up great. A couple of the cam knobs wouldnt engage but there are a few spare plastic sleeves supplied if needed. I wasn't sure if I needed the LED strip, but it was the 29th step and I figured, what the heck and installed it and absolutely love it. You can set it to a bunch of colors and patterns ot just leave it at soft daylight which is where I will leave it. This adds a ton of light to under the shelf and desk which I found excellent and no added glare. The unit came with a little hook for a coat or something to mount on the right side but I didn't install it because my desk is up against my file cabinet and this would have caused a gap. All in all I would recommend this desk for anybody looking for a great looking and functional work space that is extremely comfortable and stable.

I would take a photo but it's covered it stuff. This desk is HUGE. 63 inches I believe or a round there. It's complicated to build but worth it. It made me clean my whole room so thanks for the motivation. It's a little short but my chair is almost at the floor (gaming chair) and I'm 5'6 and I fit so it's good. It has a built in charger and comes with LEDS that work so it's comfy. The drawers are so massive and can fit lots of clothes or other things. And it is sturdy and only weighs like 70 pounds. Design is the whole reason I bought it it's aestheticlly pleasing and looks great. Only by if you have a big space though, over wise it might not fit.

Easy installation with simple instructions. And they gave you 1 extra screw for each size you need just in case you loose one. Thoughtful. Looks great and sturdy.

Not difficult to assemble but does take some time and patience . Maybe several hours. Looks really good though and is serving the purpose well

I really like everything about this computer desk. Prior to buying it I had all my equipment on a 6-foot wide and 2-foot deep worktable and it was not very tidy. This desk supports all the equipment and is 1 foot 1 inch less wide plus I now have a drawer for supplies and two file drawers. It's as if someone came in and looked at my equipment and designed a desk for it. Took a while to assemble but the instructions were very easy to follow. There are many hex screws so take care with the supplied allen wrench as I striped it out near the end of assembly. I had an allen wrench of my own that I used to finish the task. Love this desk and the price was quite reasonable! There is one con which I expected I would encounter so I am not changing my rating. The feet of the large computer on the bottom right side were bulging the metal grate due to the computer's weight, and the computer would easily wobble. I feared the metal grate would give way so I bought an inexpensive black shelf and cut it to size so it would lay over top of the "entire" bottom shelf. This allowed the computer to securely sit on that shelf and not wobble if the desk was bumped.

I recently bought this desk and overall I’m really happy with it. The assembly process was fairly easy and didn’t take too long, but I will say that some parts of the instructions were a little confusing at times and could definitely be clearer. I had to go back and double-check a few steps, but it wasn’t anything too frustrating. Once everything was put together, it turned out beautifully. The desk feels sturdy, looks great in my space, and is exactly what I was hoping for. Despite the minor hiccups with the instructions, I’m honestly in love with it and would definitely recommend it to others.

Differences between the item description and the actual product: Stated in About this item: "equipped with a 59" large tabletop..." The desk itself is 59" wide in total. The desktop, itself, is 43.5". Stated in About this item: "equipped with 4 AC outlets and 2 PowerIQ-enabled USB charging ports with a switch to provide power for up to 6 devices simultaneously. One-button power off to ensure safe electricity use, which strengthens security." There are only 2 AC outlets and 2 USB charging ports. There is no power switch. It simply plugs into the wall outlet to provide constant power. Neither of those differences bother me, but they may make a difference to some buyers. I like the desk. I needed a smaller desk for the space I currently have available, and I it is important that I have a drawer for hanging files. This seemed to fit the bill. However, the rails for the hanging files are round and too big in diameter to fit any hanging files folders I can find. While the folders will hang (precariously), the minute I try to move them or shift them to get to anything, they fall off the rails. This is a HUGE FAIL for me. The problem is, I already had the desk set up with computer, scanner and monitors, etc., before I realized the problem with the rails. So... I think I am "stuck" with it. However it is a big frustration and disappointment. As far as the sturdiness, the desk seems great. I did not use the 2nd adjustable shelf about the computer stand because my computer was just very slightly too high. It does not affect the stability of the desk at all. The drawers also impressed me (other than the rails). They are cloth, and also sturdy. For the time-being, I will make due with the files. Eventually, I will move to a larger space and will have to revert back to a file cabinet or something else for the files, as it is too frustrating and time-consuming to have files falling into the drawer all the time.
