I assume from China but it comes with no documentation. Once I got the adapter plate machined and installed the chuck had less than .001 TIR.

It won't fit anything without a backing plate. You have to get a back plate with threads to fit your lathe. Shouldn't be a problem.

Get an adapter plate to fit your wen and machine it to match the chuck. The chuck has a plain back.
