The Hikari Miso additive-free stuck have 750g

My mom used to make traditional home made miso and this is the closest thing I found on Amazon. It has the right texture, color, flavor and taste. Price is right too.

I make my own miso soup 3-4 times a week and also great for salad dressings and Nobu’s black cod recipe! You must have at least one in the fridge and one on stand by because you don’t want to run out!

This is my favorite miso so far!

We first bought this back in November 2025 and reordered in January because we went through it that fast. That pretty much says it all.We use it mainly for homemade shabu shabu and as a soup base and it works perfectly every time. The flavor is not overpowering at all, it hits just the right level which makes it really versatile. A little goes a long way so even though we went through two containers quickly it is because we cook with it so often not because it runs out fast.One tip for anyone buying this for the first time, take your time dissolving it. Do not just dump it into the pot. Dissolve it slowly and it will incorporate perfectly. Skip that step and it won't dissolve properly and you'll notice a difference in the final result.Really happy with this one and it has become a regular in our kitchen. Highly recommend especially if you enjoy Japanese cooking at home.

I decided to try something new. The flavor in this paste is very nice.I suspect there is something in this miso not listed on the label, because I had an allergic reaction to it (which I don't get from other miso pastes). It has some sort of seeds in it- looks like (maybe) sesame seeds. The reaction was not severe, but I itched from head to toe for a few days after I stopped using it. Waited a few days and went back to my typical miso and the itching didn't come back. Tried this again a week later and I'm itching.I wish I could keep ordering because it's super yummy and I live on miso soup for breakfast.

This miso paste makes super yummy miso soup! You only need to use about 2 or 3 scoops and it’s super flavorful

My second and third purchase of this miso paste arrived in a good shape. It was carefully packed in a box with packing paper and wrapped in plastic. I appreciate it. The taste of this miso is as good as one of those you get from Japanese restaurants. Price goes up a bit.
