Worked for my boat issue!
I had an issue with sparrows on my boat railings and the poop that comes along with it. I set this up, and not a single incident since. Very pleased.

It suitable for a float island
Did not work on a float island. Wasn’t sturdy enough to climb up - floated up under the island.

Highly effective and easy to install.
A Woodpecker kept landing on our chimney metal covering at approximately 5:15 a.m. daily. It was annoying and we did not have any way to stop it until this brilliant product. We ordered this and the sandbag holder and with an easy installation I did use bungees to secure the sandbag to the metal covering, no more woodpecker alarm going off in the morning! Works great- and for us-improves sleep!

Make sure you anchor the sand bag on the hoist to avoid wind force
Longer arms are better if area can support it. (eg boat hoist)

Keeps the birds away.
After a month, we have not had a bird problem on our flybridge. Coupled with the sand base, it works very well.
