Disappointing Product and Customer Support Experience
Disappointing Product and Customer Support Experience Dual-display support was the minimum requirement for me when purchasing this docking station. The unit provides one HDMI port and one DisplayPort, which should allow two external displays to be connected. Unfortunately, the HDMI port is working, but the DisplayPort is not working at all. As a result, the primary requirement for which I purchased the docking station—dual-display functionality—is not being met. I reported the issue to the company and provided the required feedback. However, instead of directly addressing the faulty DisplayPort, I was asked to remove my feedback and was taken through a series of different questions and troubleshooting steps. While I understand that reasonable troubleshooting is necessary, the repeated questions and troubleshooting have not resulted in any resolution so far. If the DisplayPort is confirmed to be faulty, I expect the docking station to be replaced rather than being asked to continue with unnecessary troubleshooting. The product may otherwise be useful, but in my case it does not meet the basic requirement for which it was purchased. More importantly, I am disappointed with the way the reported issue and customer feedback have been handled.
