Definitely not oversized. I'm not sure it's cotton.
First, I bought 2XL of this brand and Hanes 2XL Beefy T. This "oversized" shirt fits OK but is definitely a slimmer fit than the Hanes. It is also at least 2 inches shorter than the Hanes, which barely hangs to my belt line. I'm 6'2". I would try these shirts again because I like the colors but they don't have any in 2XL tall. So they're just getting returned. Machine wash cold for a cotton t-shirt? I have never seen such a thing before. The texture is interesting. So interesting in fact that it doesn't feel like cotton. I had to check the tag which is how I found out that I have to treat these shirts more gently than my woolens or any other cotton article of clothing that I own.
