Dermablend Loose Setting Powder, Face Powder Makeup & Finishing Powder for Light, Medium & Tan Skin Tones

For reference, I purchased the Dermablend standard white loose powder. I have combination skin - oily T-Zone but dry patches around my nose creases and laugh lines. I am a nurse so I am constantly moving around and working long shifts which leaves little to no time for touch ups. I had been using Bare Minerals Mineral Veil for the past 12 years or so in order to set my makeup and reduce shine. With the Mineral Veil, my T-Zone would start looking oily and shiny again after about 4-6 hours, and the dry parts of my face would look patchy and dry. I might as well have been using baby powder! Over the years, Bare Minerals has gotten less and less effective as they've changed their formulations for the worse to save money - BYE FELICIA. This Dermablend setting powder is FAR SUPERIOR to the Mineral Veil. It effectively reduces shine ALL DAY. It does NOT settle into creases or melt away. The Dermablend formulation seems finer and lighter weight which means it is undetectable and natural looking. It maintains a matte finish on my face for 12 hours or more. It is almost like putting on a translucent mask. I have gotten multiple compliments on my skin since I started using it. I don't strictly follow the application recommendations for Dermablend. They instruct you to put a lot on, wait a few minutes for it to sit/absorb, then brush off the excess. Instead, I just lightly and evenly coat the end of my Kabuki brush and buff it into my face the same way I would apply the Mineral Veil. Overall, I would 100% recommend this to family and friends. It is a game changer for me.

great product - blends well and is very lightweight and "invisible". I use the "white" invisible color and then mix it with another face powder that has color in it - this helps makeup set well and stay put without leaving lines. I've been using this product for many years without any issues with allergies or skin sensitivities.

The powder is just OK, I have a bigger problem with the silly little sponge applicator. For $32 I would expect a puff, not this cheap flat thing that doesn't even have a finger hold on it.

I bought the translucent one in a 1oz. I really love this one and it’s lasted me a long time. A little goes a long way for this product! I bought the small one to test out and then a couple months later, I bought the bigger one. I use this to hide the shine on my face, mainly the t-zone area. I mainly use this, under my eyes, eye lids, nose and forehead. It provides great coverage, it lasts a hours so I don’t have to reapply too much. I’ve tried out many powders and they didn’t work well at all. This one, it hides the shine and sets my makeup pretty well. You don’t want to be using too much where there are creases, like your eyes. It’ll look funny but it really does help.

Si tampoco te gusta que la mayoría se sientan como un talco corriente, este es genial! He probado bastantes marcas y definitivamente este y el de vichy son los mejores para mí. Llevo aproximadamente 7 años utilizando el de Vichy, y puedo decir con seguridad que este es exactamente el mismo polvo, no me sorprende ya que son marcas hermanas; Vichy y Dermablend pertenecen a la familia L'oreal.
