Our sponges are made from Cellulose, which comes from wood pulp. The scrub portion of the sponge is made from nylon. Sodium Sulfate (salt crystals) are used to make the holes in the sponges and fibers from vegetables, cotton, or hemp give the sponge strength and resistance to abrasion and tearing. How long do these sponges last?

Mine has been used daily since December and doesn’t smell or look like it’s even be used. These are sturdy sponges.

No , I wouldn't advise it on a car, it could leave hairline scratches in your car.
