Rugged Case Compatible with iPhone 17 Pro Max, Magnetic Cover (Black)

This is the first phone case worthy of a review. These are the best I have ever had. I grabbed the Rokform Rugged Case in Black right after getting my iPhone 17 Pro Max, needing serious protection without sacrificing style or usability. The matte black finish with carbon fiber texture looks premium and tactical, adding grip without making the huge phone feel too bulky. It’s military-grade tough, with reinforced corners and raised edges that have already saved my phone from a few concrete drops—no scratches or damage. The standout feature is the insanely strong MAGMAX™ magnets—way more powerful than standard MagSafe. It locks securely to metal surfaces, car vents, or Rokform mounts, holding steady even on rough roads or during rides. Buttons are responsive, ports precise, and wireless charging works flawlessly. This phone case is the best phone case I’ve ever had. My phone feels extremely secure and durable with this case on, and the magnetic pull is crazzyyyy. Wireless charging compatible . Also not too bulky of a case at all which is also very nice. The case is very easy to install simply put one edge of the phone in first then snap the other side in and it’s nice and snug. Comes with an extra magnet (even tho it’s probably not needed, but nice to have ) that can also be easily installed on the back of the case with a snap in system ( extra magnet cannot be used with MagSafe wireless charging products, if installed remove before attempting MagSafe wireless charging). Only thing is I think the price point is a little high, but it is definitely a quality product.

Very impressed so far. I can open my fridge’s freezer door with my phone; the magnet is so strong! A feature I didn’t know I wanted or needed. It’s not going anywhere or falling off whatever you stick it to that’s metal! Case is of great quality; would certainly protect it against a drop. Based on what I’ve seen thus far I will be buying the bicycle and car mounts. The magnet plug isn’t really needed; if you like to wireless charge your phone don’t install it. Says so in the instructions; confirmed it won’t with that installed. Looks great on my iPhone 17 PM. Easy to install and the unboxing experience is very Apple like; well done and satisfying. Highly recommend and will report back if my opinion changes. Very well done Rokform; a first time customer throughly impressed.

Love this case. The magnet is very handy for holding the phone when hands free is needed while using the phone or flashlight. Phone is well protected but the case is not overly bulky, noticeably slimmer than the pelican case that preceded it. No issues with tempered glass screen protecter. Camera lenses and sensors are below the case level and protected as well. The texture and material provide good grip even when hands are wet or oily. This case is definitely on the expensive side but I feel Im getting what I payed for.

Please hear me on this! This is the best phone case unless you are looking for cute, pretty etc. this is a heavy solid black phone case with a very strong MagSafe back. Also strong to stick to anything else with the lower magnet. No fear of falling off. Stuck it on the front of my jeep and took off down the road. I had one for my 14 pro max and now my 17 pro max. I am one who has bought multiple trying to find the right one. This is it. I won’t lie it is heavier than normal because of magnets - but took my case off the 14 pro max and it’s still in perfect shape! No issues at all!! I know it’s more expensive than most but you won’t buy multiple during the life of your phone.

Great case super easy to use and put on and feels very rugged. Fits good in normal pockets but doesn’t grip to much where it makes getting it in and out a problem. The magnets in this case are also crazy strong.

Wie gewohnt, eine sehr gut verarbeitete Hülle. Super Qualität und super starke Magneten. Ich habe eine Hülle für mein IPhone 15 pro max gekauft und war damals schon begeistert. Man kann das Smartphone mit Hülle überall magnetisch anheften lassen. Es ist unglaublich. Diese Hülle für das IPhone Air ist genauso toll und hält was sie verspricht. Super Haltbarkeit, Verarbeitung und magnetische Haftung ist einfach ein Traum.

Having tried a few cases - I decided to spend a bit more and see if this Rockford case was worth the extra amount. I am pleased to say it certainly seems it. I have always used Mous cases - but with this years iPhone they leave the plateau unprotected. This case solves that and feels equally as well made as the mous. I don’t use the stronger magnet so have no issues with the gps / compass as other have pointed out. You get both a “blank” back and the super strong magnetic back included. With the blank it still works with MagSafe accessories.

Pessima fattura, dopo nemmeno un mese gli adattatori wireless e magnetico si sono scollati. Inutile il tentativo di rimediare mediante colla. A dir poco vergognoso visto il prezzo di 60 euro. Assolutamente sconsigliato.

La boussole semble ne plus fonctionner lorsqu’on met le plug aimanté, ce qui n’est pas mentionné dans la description. Ce n’est pas encore trop dérangeant, mais j’ai reçu également une coque avec un défaut à l’arrière, à 60€ la coque ce n’est pas envisageable et très décevant. Dommage car la coque a une bonne prise en main, si elle n’avait pas le défaut cosmétique je l’aurai certainement gardée.

La verdad nunca había comprado una funda de estos precios pero quedé totalmente maravillado con la excelente calidad del producto y el imán propio de la funda es excelente. - Volvería a comprarla definitivamente para próximos teléfonos.
