It does what it is supposed to, but I feel like an old dork wearing them. Also, they haven't scratched my lenses.

I guess I am my dad now. I’m wearing flip up shades. This is something I vowed I would never do but here we are. I guess we all get old. They’re just so darn convenient ya’ know? First off, the price point of around $20 (at the time of order) is fair for this quality. The shades feel well built. The lens’ seem thick and the plastic clips are firm and hold the shades in place. I choose the rectangular cut and they fit my glasses perfectly. I feel like I really lucked out on that. Keep in mind, they do have various shapes and sizes. Order carefully and I think you can come close. These aren’t custom shades. You have to remember that. The tint level seems about right and I like the polarization. It kills the glare. It also prevents you from reading a phone or computer screen but that’s no problem because you can just flip them up for a sec. You won’t look as cool as David Caruso doing it but hey, it’s about convivence. Remember that. Overall, decent price, decent fit and they do a do a decent job. What’s not to love? I like ‘em.

It took a long time for me to find what I wanted looking around in stores. This looked like it was what I had been looking for, so I decided to take a chance. I am glad I did because they are functional and have been durable. The price was a bonus because everything I looked at in stores was either cheap and useless or expensive and almost as useless.

My previous sun glasses fell apart. These are built stronger. They have full coverage of my lens.

They reduce glare while night driving, but I have had better optic yellow enhancing glasses elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, they help. They're very lightweight, so not really noticeable charge in comfort when wearing them. The flip up lens works pretty well but I don't think my set flip up as much as shown in the product shots. they fit over my frames and cover my lenses very easily, they're pretty large overall. In fact, if I were to place them on the glasses in a way to allow flipping them up near parallel to my forehead, the clip on would be lightly pinching to the glasses, but not resting on the frames. When positioned like that its easy to jar them and have them be askew on your face. The trade off is stable position w less ability to flip up the lens above your brow, or far less positional stability and having the lenses be able to flip up full range of the hinge unencumbered. If you've similar style frames, these will work well for you, sort of Lennon specs or round tortoise shell. A note, I also wore them daytime driving and found they don't enhance the depth near as much as the aforementioned sunglasses. It was clear and sunny, not overcast...I'd like to try them on an overcast day driving to see if it helps add any depth perception. I'd say they're reasonably priced for what they are, and if you're not near as blind as I, I bet these would suit most folks just fine.
