Redants Manual Bread Slicer for Homemade Sourdough Bread

I am extremely pleased with this bread slicer. It arrived very well packaged, and I appreciated the protective cover and secure packaging that helped prevent any accidents during shipping. The slicer is lightweight yet feels sturdy and well made. One of my favorite features is how easy it is to clean after use. The design is simple, practical, and perfect for homemade sourdough and artisan breads. The suction feet work surprisingly well and keep the slicer firmly in place while cutting, which adds an extra level of safety and makes the entire process much easier. The blade is sharp, and I was able to achieve consistent slices without much effort. Overall, this product offers excellent quality, durability, ease of use, and great value for money. Item is genuine idea wise but is a real classic piece of junk. Mid second time use as I was slicing the handle got detached and remained in my hand.

I love this thing. It works beautifully. Smooth spin and easy slice. I really like the size adjustment. Being able to easily select the thickness of the bread I am slicing is great, as I use different thicknesses depending on the use. There are some small things I would like to see changed. 1 I would prefer a longer base. When it is a fresh loaf I have to hold up the end. I would rather it sit nice and flat without having to hold it up. 2 I would love to see the slicing part be able to fold down for more compact storage. The suction cups are strong and easily attach. They hold it nice and firm.

This bread slicer is AMAZING. My husband baked a number of different sized and density loves and this slicer cut them like they were all made of clouds. The crank is so smooth and silent and the blade is sharp. The base has suction cups so it's not sliding all over while you're cutting. It's small than I expected and easily tucks away in a cabinet when not in use.

It's cut well but the suction cups won't stick to my table or counter so I need help to use it properly.

Poor quality. I used it for 3/4 of one loaf and the finish was worn off in several places. The cutting structure is so flimsy wobbles when you crank it. Not sure how long it will be before it breaks or pulls through the wooden base. It cuts fine but the design of this type cutter forces the bread to snake to the right. (See picture - I added a line to it to show the path)It fractures the crust to do so resulting in crumbs everywhere. It does cut nice consistent slices though. Just not worth the mess or likely poor lifespan. While it does take up counter space, it is no more than a cutting board. The suction cup feet do a good job of holding it to the counter.

This makes cutting bagels much easier and safer. Roll cutting is a little easier, I don't make homemade bread so I can't comment on that. The suction cups on the bottom work really well on my counters & table. It doesn't move when used.
