Flora 5 Pattern Nozzle Sprinkler (1 pc)

Bought this for use in my garden as I didn't want to waste water when moving from plant to plant.I was intrigued by the "five pattern" name, wondering what patterns I could expect (?!)... More on that later.The quality of the product is good. Sturdy plastic, though the blue handle feels a bit weak, but it hasn't buckled or broken till now (around a month of daily usage). It comes with a "stay on" locking wire, which is good for when you need a steady stream of water without having to keep the handle pressed continuously.Now coming to the five patterns, it does have 5 patterns. You can switch from one to other by rotating the dial until the appropriate pattern clicks into place. It has Flat, Cone, Mist, Shower and Jet patterns. Out of these, the Flat seems to be the most useful for gardening. Shower produces a wide area shower pattern (but too wide with large gaps for most gardening purposes). However, it is good for sprinkling wide areas while saving water (maybe good for lawns??).Mist setting just produces a thin jet of water, and Jet produces a thick jet of water. Either the Mist setting is misnamed, or maybe they forgot to add the misting element in the head, so it just produces a jet of water which'll easily knock out any shallow rooted plant flat!Cone might be good if you want to water the lawn, maybe. I couldn't see much use for it though. From my limited perspective of gardening, it doesn't make sense.Overall, I've found that I just use the Flat setting, and it works for me. The price is reasonable, build quality too is good. The 4 other patterns I might some day decipher and start using! :)Overall, a good product but not a great one (only because of the 4 settings which don't work for me!). If they reduced the patterns to just one, and dropped the price by 50 Rs, it'd be a great one FOR ME!

Made out of plastic but the built quality is average something which you couldget in a local plastic shops or hardware shops.Intended for gardening purpose only. Ignore if you are considering for wahingautomobiles.Water flow through the 5 patterns simply depend upon the speed gushing outof the stock pipe and is very thin out flow.Compatible with half inch, three fourth inch and one inch pipes but keeps comingout as the grip design is very poor.To make the water flow, need to press the black colour lever. This lever breakseasily because of its delicate design. Be cautious here as it may hurt you.Initially this needs intense pressure to open up the nozzle valve there is asupport yo make it hold open.Twist the black colour nozzle holder so as to utilise all the 5 patterns.There is no instruction manual provided. Flora is a local made brand, M.R.P. (190/-)quoted on the package is seller imitated.Recommended for garden usage and does the job perfectly.Hope this helps!
