Not Strong Enough
My old teak directors chairs that I got in 4/2006 are very strong...these beech wood chairs which I just ordered and are being returned are not properly designed...instead of having one solid piece of wood going from the arm rest up to the top, there are two pieces and the back rest post is put into the base with about 1/8th of an inch of wood to support the back rest and anyone sitting in this chair will break the back post off immediately and maybe fall backwards and get injured...this is a chair that needs to be removed for any consideration... the first one came and was put together and immediately the back rest broke off....dangerous....
