Men's Steampunk Vintage Tailcoat Jacket Gothic Victorian Frock Coat Uniform Halloween Costume

This jacket is AWESOME. Runs big, but makes for a dapper look! The tails almost touch the floor. I bought it a size bigger than what I normally wear so I would have room to move in it. After getting it, maybe I didn’t have to do that? You just never know when you can’t see or try it on in person. I’m 5’9, 120lbs, and it fits nice when I have a tshirt and button up shirt under it. I have room for at least 30 more pounds before it becomes snug! It’s super comfortable even though with all the layers I got a little sweaty. No annoying tags that are scratchy. Easy to iron out any wrinkles.

Used this (so far) one time for a xmas show. It got me many compliments for it's unique look. Other reviews are correct about the wrinkles not coming out. Wife cold ironed and hung it in the shower area for a steaming......still the wrinkles were there (not a game changer for me). Vest is sewn in and not removable. This will probably last me for several years if I only wear it 1 or 2 times a year. I ordered a size larger than I really wear just to be sure I could get into it and it fit loosely, but still worked for me.

This coat is exactly as I expected. It is made from rather flimsy polyester. The tailoring is rather flimsy too. The color (royal blue) is just right and looks good. The buttons are gold, metalized plastic and not very well attached. If you're a fat guy relying on the the buttons, straining to keep the jacket closed you should reinforce the buttons' stitches. I'm 6 feet 1 inch tall and weigh 250 pounds. I'm not obese or massively muscular but I'm not skinny either. I have very broad shoulders and a big chest. The jacket (XXLarge) fits well over my chest and belly but its tight across the back of my shoulders. The top part of the sleeves is tight around my upper arms. The sleeves are just long enough and the tails go down to mid-calf. If you're a short dude the tails might be dragging the ground. This jacket is "Halloween costume quality" It isn't a sturdy garment that will stand up to long-term, repeated use. If you buy it expecting to wear it over and over again for years, you will be disappointed. I read a lot of the other reviews from people who ordered it, expecting to be a high quality, sturdy garment and then complain once it was delivered. You get what you pay for. What did you expect for $26? I mean, a basic, inexpensive, JCPenny-brand sport coat goes for a minimum of $50. What makes a person think they can spend half that price and get a real, high-quality tailcoat? (and then act surprised when it arrives and complain when it doesn't hold up.) If you are buying this garment to wear once or just a few times, it is good. It looks great for what is.

the fabric felt super costumey, but thats fine since it was for a costume. this fit my 6'3 boyfriend well and didnt bother him through the night. the fabric isnt itchy and said it was nice and breatheable for him which was good in the texas heat.

I've wanted this coat for a long time for a cosplay. I'm a bigger person so I was worried about the size. I mustered up the courage and got it however I didn't take into account how tight the arms would be. It cut off my circulation. It was so tight all I could do was T-Pose and ask for help taking it off so I wouldn't rip it. Everything else fit the way I wanted it to. I gave it 3 stars because It's a nice coat in every other way. Color is beautiful. Looked very good on my partner with thinner arms. great condition I will be returning it. I am disappointed but I hope this is a cautionary tale for other fat people. If you got wider than average upper arms stay clear! (I am a 2-3XL person and got a 4XL so I could to take it in if needed.)

The material of this jacket reminds me of a semi-disposable lab coat. Reusable, but nobody will be sad if it gets stained and needs to be tossed. To get a real jacket with this shape, you cant even buy the fabric for twice the price. Considering all the pieces and stitching that goes into this, Im shocked at how low the price was. It certainly made my halloween costume dreams affordable. Mine got remade into a tailored (female curves) trench coat (with vest) for a Pokemon Go trainer costume. It was easy to modify. I expected this to be in Chinese sizes, but that may just be something that plagues womens clothing. In womens clothes, I wear size 12-14, and the Medium was too big. (I should have bought a small, but since I was modifying it anyway....)

It was perfect suit fit . Price was nice for this one time party. I’m trying to think how it can be used again.

Used for a Tenna cosplay for my preteen. Looked great and was decent quality. It was wrinkly when arrived so we lightly steamed it. It doesn’t seem like a fabric that would do well with high heat so we avoided ironing. Was a little big even thought we got the smallest size.

Sizing is accurate, could be better quality but good enough for a costume. The red is nice. My kid is 5'5" and 115lb and got a men's small and it fits as she wanted it to be.
