Easy to install, works well, nicely featured app
Installation was easy, though I didn't have any available space left in my electric panel, so I had my electrician add a sub-panel and then we wired in the EVIQO NACS Charger to that. I set the max amperage to 40 A because my home only has 100 A service, so limiting the circuit to a 50 A breaker (required for 40 A power draw) seemed prudent. It is nice that you can set a hard limit for the EVIQO NACS Charger if you wish to do so. This is very helpful in cases when drawing the full 48 A might put too much stress on a home's electrical system.I have used the EVIQO app to further customize the amperage available for charging based on the time of day. I plan to switch to time based electric billing in the near future, so I have limited the charging to 10 A during times of the day when electricity is expensive and allowed 40 A when it is (or rather, will be) cheaper. Doing this now should make the billing change cheaper as the electric company calculates part of the switching fee based on your historical electricity usage. The overall build quality is good. This includes the main unit, the power cable, and the NACS connector. After several drops on the garage floor the NACS connector still shows no sign of wear.My only annoyance is that EVIQO called me several times asking me to post a review. Ok, here's my review. You can stop calling me now, alright? Thanks

Great Level 2 EV charger!!
Level 2 EV charger for my new vehicle, easy to use, it works great. I programmed it to charge the vehicle when the electrical rates are lower. Charges my car from 20% to 100% in about 8 hours (overnight). Keeps a log of my electricity consumption and costs. Highly recomend it!

The absolute best charger
First, I want to say that overall, I love the charger. The quality of it the minute you open it just feels good. The app is nice and overall, it works very well. I have a Tesla and I used to have a Tesla charger before I moved and decided not to buy another as after 3 years, the cable sleeving started coming undone around the charger handle and showing the inner cables and one of my biggest complaints was that when you clicked the button to open the charge port it would be like 5-6 clicks later and a small wait until the charge port opened. I don’t know how you mess that up on your own car and technology stack. So, I decided to try another charger and came across yours. Between all of the specs, capabilities and reviews, I decided to try it out. It checked the boxes for me on quality, amperage, cable length, and a native Tesla plug. The charger so far has performed great and I love plugging in and seeing all the details of the charge. One thing I immediately noticed when using your charger is that the charge door opens on the first click every time unless the car has been in deep sleep for a couple days of not driving. What a pleasure to not sit and wait for it for 20 seconds every time you want to plug in.This is definitely the best charger on the market today. Don't hesitate to get this one if you're looking.

Easy to install, well built EV charger
This charger works. Easy to install. No complaints.I bought the plug in version to hard wire it because my Tesla charger died and I didn’t want to add a junction box and to keep my install clean.EVIQO has made some smart updates in regards to the removal of the plug to replace with hardwired setup. The older version used wire crimps and the version I just got (August 2026) used wire ferrals. Made for a much cleaner install.Using #8 AWG THHN and a 50A breaker I get a full 40A charge.Make sure you have a torque screwdriver and a ferral crimper.

Solid charger
Works perfectly as advertised. Our electrician the line from the circuit breaker box directly into the charger without any issues. Getting the charger connected to our WiFi was easy. The app is intuitive and very straightforward. I like the ability to adjust the amperage of the charger. Even though we clgave the capacity to bump the rate to 48A, we usually stick to 20A for 98% of our charging. Overall a solid product with an easy to use app.

Solid and dependable charger with easy setup.
This charger was incredibly easy to set up with the phone app. I like the compact and minimalist design as well as the ease of use. By default, you just plug in to charge but it does allow for scheduling and has other settings you can adjust. The default amperage is 48 amps which you can manually lower during installation with the dip switch but you can also easily adjust the amps using a slider on the Home Screen of the app. The only thing I can think of that could be an issue for some is that the status lights on the charger are pretty bright and cannot be dimmed. That's not a problem for me but it might be for some. The ability to dim the status lights would be nice. Overall, it seems well constructed, the holster works well and the 25 foot cable is really useful. After about a year I changed my car from a Chevy Volt using an adapter to new Chevy Bolt with a native NACS port that matched the plug on my EVIQO charger. It recognized my new car and automatically changed it in my app. About a week later, I received an email from the folks at EVIQO checking to be sure I wasn’t having any issues with the charger and new car. I am adding this comment to give them an A+ for customer service. It is obvious they care about their charger and customers.

Wonderful customer service team.
I have to update my review. Their customer service reached out and fixed my issue with a firmware update. I have to admit, it took effort to find me and resolve this, customer service does care. 5 star service from their team. The hardware is ok, what you expect from a plastic box. After months of abuse, dropping it, throwing the connector on the ground, it is holding up well. It’s not fancy and it doesn’t need to be. I won’t add or deduct stars, it’s suitable. The installed connectors are high quality suitable for sustained use, my last charger melted the plug and this one has worked fine for months in the same conditions.I’ve been a programmer since the 80’s so I won’t be too critical of the software. It has basic functions and works well, although not intuitive on first use. For my use, I plug in my car and never touch the app. But there are scheduling options for those who charge during off peak hours. If I’m being hyper critical, they would lose a star. The core is there, they need someone to polish and refine the user experience. Functionally it’s fine and not difficult, it would not be a factor when recommending this.

Reasonably priced, simple to install, robust EV charger.
I have installed two of these chargers now; both are hard wired installations which were straight forward and have had absolutely no issues with either unit. One is a NACS (Tesla) and one is a J1772 connection; note the PC board is unique to the connector so one cannot simply replace the cord/connector for convenience and must use a converter (I had ordered the J1772 for my home, then decided to buy a different EV which had the NACS connector; second unit with NACS I installed at another residence. Just have to use a converter at my primary residence, no issue)

Excellent Product, Excellent Company
This is a very solid charger made of very strudy materials. The cable has excellent length and is also very good material. I've been using it now for nine months with no issues. The app is...okay, certainly usable but I find I use my car's app more to control charging anyway. But in addition to a quality product, the customer service from this company is top notch. Even before I purchased the product I sent them a question as this was my first EV and my first home charger. They responded immediately with very clear information.I would highly recommend this company and product to anyone.

Excellent Level 2 Charger for My Cadillac OPTIQ
Excellent Level 2 Charger for My Cadillac OPTIQI've been using the EVIQO NACS 40A Level 2 charger with my Cadillac OPTIQ, and it has been excellent. Charging has been reliable and consistent from day one.Installation was simple using a standard NEMA 14-50 outlet, and the charger delivers the expected Level 2 charging speeds. The 25-foot (7.6 m) cable provides plenty of reach, making it easy to park and plug in without having to position the vehicle perfectly every time. The charger feels very well built. It's weatherproof and rated for outdoor use, which gives me confidence that it will hold up well over time. The charging handle is sturdy and connects securely to the vehicle. The Wi-Fi app is easy to use and allows me to monitor charging sessions and schedule charging during off-peak electricity hours. While it only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, setup was quick and straightforward. What impressed me most is that it simply works. My Cadillac OPTIQ charges without any issues, and I've experienced no interruptions or connection problems. For the price, the build quality, certifications, and smart features make this charger an excellent value.I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable Level 2 charger, especially if you own a GM EV with a NACS charging port.

Great charger
I have nothing but good things to say about that charger. It looks good. Performs great. Keep my phone charged and I get a notification when charge is starting, when it's ending and how much it costed me with the current grid price. My only complaint, not really an issue so far is sometimes, when I press the button on the handle, it doesn't unlock the charger so I can unhook it from the car. Currently using it for a 2026 Cadillac Optiq

An excellent choice for home charging for any NACS supported EV
Highly recommended. Easy-to-use charger that works perfectly for my Tesla and Hyundai IONIQ-9 without any need for attachments. Instructions are easy to follow, and setup was a breeze. Scheduling works perfectly so that I can plug my vehicle in and let it start charging as scheduled. The charging cord is longer than the one with the Tesla mobile charger, so that's an added plus, meaning I don't have to spend as much time making sure my vehicle is parked perfectly to ensure that there is enough cord.
