Rhododendron

Mellow indie rock isn’t my normal genre of music I tend to listen to, but Rhododendron by Valley Maker is my favorite record of the year by far. Can listen front to back and start over again. Austin’s voice and tempo along with the guitar tone is truly fulfilling, and with Amy’s haunting backup vocals and you have a masterpiece.

Valley Maker (Austin Crane) has really crafted a gem of an album here. And Amy Fitchette's backing vox... wow. She's another Kelly Hogan.
