Finally a worth while toolset without being broken after two uses. Very comfy and with the various sizes it makes it very useful!

this kit has solidly built crimpers that produce a perfect crmp every time. there are plenty of each size terminal and lots of each pin so you dont run out to fast. the only issue i have is that the company doesnt have a refill option to order more.

This is a very nice kit to make custom wiring connectors. It includes many different wire count connectors for different needs, from 2 up to 16. You do have to pay special attention to which metal pin/pocket you're using so that the assembled connectors work as expected, but it just takes a bit of focus to keep it straight. The included crimper has multiple sizes for the different gauges of wire, even though the pins are all the same size. This ensures none are over or under crimped. The instructions are a bit jumbled, with English and German(?) being right next to each other in each section. But the pictures help to clear up the process. One thing that's mentioned in the instructions, but isn't included in the kit, is the pronged tool to remove installed pins from the connector body. So be sure you are keeping track of what goes where, because undoing it won't be easy without that tool, or something similar.

I ordered this connector, pin, and crimp kit to use on various projects around the house. It’s super nice to have all the components and the crimp tool all in one central organized spot. I have other systems that I’ve had to organize myself into boxes. The crimp on pins work well and hold tightly (passing the “tug” test after installation). The connector bodies seem to be decent quality. The pins are a bit on the thin side but they lock into the connector bodies well and for lighter projects they’re fine (this is more of an issue with the connector design and not with the kit). The included crimp tool is surprisingly good for the price. The grips are comfortable and the dies are clearly marked for different size wire. I’ve been spoiled by crimp tools that cost 10x (they hold the wire and pin for you) but for the price these are great. They are easy to use once you get the hang of them. For the money this kit is a great purchase.

This works the way it should. I needed some learning time though, lol. The instructions could be better though. They are TINY and pretty much only pictures. The first time I tried to do it I got things a little backwards. I finally figured out how to get it and this worked very well to fix some wiring on my car.

I'd never used one of these before, so there was a bit of a learning curve, but there's nice, clear, illustrated instructions included and I was able to create several connecting plugs for an electronics project I was working on. The one thing the instructions mention that wasn't included is a removal tool for the pins for if you (like me) insert one of the pins into the wrong kind of plug (male vs. female). The crimper itself is sturdy, and has a nice ratcheting lock that's easy to use once you get the hang of it.

Un très bon kit pour commencer. Avec sa pince à dénuder et sa pince à sertir, ce kit composé d'une panoplie de connecteurs avec différents canaux permet de relier facilement et proprement deux systèmes entre eux. la pince à sertir est également compatible avec d'autres marques de connecteurs similaires, donc très pratique. Beaucoup d'épaisseurs de fil prises en charge. Attention : Bien lire la notice ou un tutoriel sur le net pour bien sertir les câbles, cela ne se fait pas n'importe comment. L'ensemble est bien solide.

Fungerar perfekt för hobbybruk. Svårt att få till vissa kontakter, men med lite träning går det fint. Proffsverktyg går säkert smidigare, men prisskillnaden är för mig omöjlig att motivera så bra som den här fungerar.
