CURT 56011 Vehicle-Side Custom 4-Pin Trailer Wiring Harness, Select Civic, Fit, Accord w/o LED Taillights, Mazda 3, CX5, Mitsubishi Galant

This kit is so simple to install. The hardest part was trying to remove the boot panels but fortunately I was able to find an instructional video online for my car model to follow. The length of the green wire for the RH indicator was a little short when looming it under the panels and was just enough to reach the light connectors.

I recieved the harness in perfect condition in a very timely manor. The written instructions were exacting but the illustrations were really too small for my old eyes. To be sure, I checked the web and there are several videos that confirm the installation technique. The harness installed exactly as stated and fit perfectly. The only drawback I had was that I ordered the hitch and harness for a trip my wife was taking in a few days. She had a borrowed church trailer and when I hooked it up, brake and running lights funtioned but not the turn signals. The trailer was brought to us by an older pickup truck so I reattached the trailer lights to the pickup and everything worked just fine on it, but not on her 2014 Mazda CX5. So with only a few hours before she was to leave, I called Customer service and told them what I had. The call was answered almost immediately and they spent enough time with me on the phone to say it was a totally unusual event and he was sending out a new harness right away. In the few days between calling with a problem and recieving a new harness, I went and acquired a lighted tester since my mulimeter was dead. The harness was functioning perfectly and the trailer was the problem. Now I have to send back the replacement with my apologies for being a doofus. Every aspect of this product is good and I would absolutely recommend or buy again.

Comme décris, plug-in parfait. Aussi j'ai utilisé la prise 12v dans le coin droit de la valise pour raccorder le module sans devoir à passer le fil jusqu'à la batterie en avant du véhicule se qui facilite grandement l'installation. Je n'ai pas mis la fusible étant donné que cette prise a dejas sa propre fusible. Pour la mise à la terre( fil blanc) j'ai utilisé une vise qui sert dejas de mise a la terre du côté gauche. Le plus compliqué est de démonter et remonter les panneaux du véhicule. Regarder les videos a ce sujet, plusieur vis caché. Compter environs 1h total pour l'installation.

I bought the CURT 56011 Vehicle-Side Custom 4-Pin Trailer Wiring Harness for my 2011 Honda Fit Sport and installation was a breeze. Really like the no-splice style installation that just plugs in without any fuss. Worked first try and was very easy to hide under the carpet with plenty of extra wire for hooking things up. Great product from a great company.
