Seems like a well built machine with good performance
Machine seems well built and solid. Have only used for a short period, mostly going through the typical Windows Setup and updates. Battery life projects to be OK for such a small machine. I haven't fully tested yest, but appears to be tracking to 3:30 or so with moderate use. Screen is vibrant and doesn't seem to have dead pixels. 1080P would have been better than the 800P but for the price it is hard to complain. Performance is better in comparison to N5105 and J4125 desktops. Mouse will take some getting used to. It has what appears to be a capacitive touch pad button and separate left and right buttons. Keep finding myself trying to click and double click by pressing on the track button. Have noticed the mouse jitters and moves on the screen - not sure if that is related to the capacitive pad and/or touch screen or in the build quality. A little annoying and causes clicks on unintended things on the desktop. Could be a build/windows issues - I've seen it on a few budget Celeron based machines without touch screens and with standard mice.Happy overall for the intended purpose so far: small, relatively light travel PC for field data work and collection. I wouldn't try to use it without a dock and/or standard keyboard/mouse/monitor for anything requiring a lot of typing, etc. Ok for short e-mails, light spreadsheet work, etc. The small keyboard is functional but really requires going back to Hunt Peck Miss Cuss typing. On a lark, I connected an Intel Realsense D415 to it and installed the Realsense SDK. Was fair on the point cloud processing with the Realsense Viewer and can be used in a pinch if needed. Not really close to an i7 or higher machine with and NVIDIA card but a much lower cost impact if needed for field use.

Fully functional mini laptop
This mini laptop is amazing. I can see myself actually using this device when I need to check on the status of my projects outside. It seems that I've owned every small niche device produced from the Sony UX50 to Sony VAIO PCG-C1VE to the Fujitsu Lifebook U810. Unfortunately, they all had limitations and drawbacks. The U810 had a lot of potential in the early 2000s but it was slow and needed lots of accessories. This Koosmile mini laptop has a N100 CPU, 12GB Ram, 512GB SSD with RJ45 Network Jack, USB2 and HDMI ports. It also comes with a USB HUB and pen for tablet use. The display swivels into a tablet unlike the Lenovo which pivots the display 360* and the keys are facing the bottom. It is exactly like the LIfebook U810.Pros:- The N100 CPU seems is fast considering it has 4C/4T but they are Intel E cores rather than P cores (efficient vs performance). Feels like a Gen8 i3 but significantly faster than atom D525 CPUs. So performance is snappy - web browsing and Youtube videos exhibited no buffering pauses. The HDHomerun app ran without a hitch @ 1280x800.- All Windows Apps such as office worked fine as expected.- Windows compatibility and functionality where Android or IOS devices may not have equivalent features- Tablet mode works well- Touch screen functionality- Wifi 6, BT5.2, USB2 and HDMI Ports- Includes Window 11 Pro ($150 value)- Includes Pen and external USB hub- Price is only $430. Typically fully functional mini laptops cost an arm and a leg.Cons:- The keyboard is compromised due to device size. Touch typing is difficult unless you have small hands.- Device is very warm on the bottom. It can get hot but not enough to burn your hand.- Battery life only ~6hrs. Better laptops can get around 10hrs+- Speakers not very loud (use BT with earplugs)If you need a small windows laptop with minimal compromises, this is it. Just buy it.Update: -1 StarBattery seems to drain when shut down. Total uptime seems around 2hrs+ now for web browsing and email.

Competent portable PC.
Was buying this for a portable windows PC. It serves the purpose for sure with 12g + 512g storage and a windows 11 pro. The screen is surprisingly sharp with more than 1080p display. The keyboard is a little crowded but I don’t blame it. I did not expect I can type on this like I did on my full size keyboard. Sound is not outstanding, make it weak on streaming movies. The best of the best is that, I finally have a portable thing for my Hero wars! Hero wars web somehow can only be played on a browser of a pc or Mac, not on cell phone or even iPad. It always glitch on these pads or cell phone. This thing is perfect for me so I can have access to my game during any trip lol When you flip the screen you can fill it is not loose, feels sturdy. It is small but a little too thick. It generates heat so don’t use it in you bed:)Finally, As a portable PC, it is competent and serve the purpose. Price is reasonable. If you are using it for streaming, use a headphone or earbuds. Best of the best, it make your windows game portable such as my Hero wars web.

90 Degree HDMI Monitor Screen Rotation
This KOOSMILE 8 inch HD Touch Screen Mini Laptop Computer with Windows 11 Pro worked fine for the first ten days until Microsoft Windows Pro11 demanded that we update and expand the KOOSMILE's Widows 11 Pro Security Software. Shortly thereafter, the HDMI attached Amazon Fire TV Monitor, which has worked perfectly for MANY MONTHS, rotated the monitor's screen representation by 90 degrees as shown in the attached photo. We've been unable to find instructions to reverse this 90 degree rotation and return the monitor screen to its correct upright representation. The older, 11 inch Windows 10Pro Asus laptop the KOOSMILE replaces continues to work perfectly with the same inputs and connections.ALL the evidence points to the corrupt Windows 11Pro Security Update we applied at the software's direction earlier today. Please tell us how to fix this unwanted, disturbing 90 degree monitor rotation asap or we'll return the laptop.

Extremely good value laptop with some concessions
I've got a lot of feelings on this thing that I'll try to break down into Pros/Cons to make it easier to digest.PROS:- I got this on a lightning deal for $320 and couldn't be more pleasantly surprised with the performance and quality at that price.- DDR5, Intel N100 and a 512GB MSATA all combines to make a very snappy little device. It's not a gaming or performance powerhouse with a low wattage CPU, but it's still incredibly solid for something small to carry around and use for miscellaneous things.- The stock MSATA SSD is decently fast at around 500MB/s from my testing. The device is capable of a normal NVME as well, but I have yet to receive one to benchmark.- Display quality is actually quite good and the included pen is very responsive. I was shocked that the active stylus was included in the box, but I am all for it even if I don't use it 100% of the time.- I genuinely don't mind the trackpoint-esque touch sensor. If you've used thinkpads before, this will be incredibly similar of an experience with the additional feature of being able to "tap" the sensor to click on things.- Battery life is shockingly solid. Adjusted some settings in Windows 10 and I get around 6-7 hours per charge.- Surprisingly good materials used. Device has an all metal build that feels very premium for the price.- My USB-C capable monitor works properly, even if the device doesn't charge while plugged in.MIXED:- The keyboard is only "usable", it is not easy or pleasurable to use. In a pinch if you're entering something into the browser or using basic programs the keyboard is fine but for anything else it is a hassle to use. For the overall footprint of the device, I don't know what else could really be done about the spacing other than how it is, but it's a tradeoff you have to accept to get something this small.- The rotatable screen is a cool feature, but I am not 100% confident in the hinge from a reliability standpoint. I often find my display is a little "crooked" when it's in normal laptop position.- Performance on Windows 10 is quite solid, but drivers will be impossible to find on your own. I downloaded drivers from some YouTuber's blog that work for Windows 10 and Windows 11.- The IO is significantly better than the only other N100 compact laptop I know of, the Chuwi Matebook X, but it could be better. An additional USB-A port and micro SD card would put it in a better spot versus the devices this is a clone of.- NVME slot is made for 2242 size drives, so that will make your drive choices somewhat limited or more expensive than 2230 or 2280 options.CONS- This device is rebranded and dropshipped frequently on Aliexpress and Amazon. There is no clear "manufacturer" that I could really find and the BIOS strings are all left completely blank. Getting drivers or "support" through anyone outside Amazon seems like it could be extremely difficult.- The "Koosmile" branding on the lid isn't as bad as it could be, but I wish the device came completely unbranded.- The "product key" on the bottom of my device wore off after only a day of using the laptop. It's fine since I'm activated but could be a problem if you don't write it down or take a picture of it after you unbox the device.- Linux does not work right now with the latest Intel i915 graphics drivers and even the most up-to-date kernel. The BIOS is missing the necessary vendor strings and BIOS table to tell the kernel enough about the display for it to work under most distros. You CAN boot into a linux desktop and use the display, but you have to put the device to sleep and then wake it to get the display to work. There are active community discussions trying to resolve the issues, but I wouldn't buy this laptop if Linux is your intended use for it.- The device takes a long time to charge (almost 2 hours) completely. I'm using a 90w USB-C charger with a solid cable and even that doesn't make a difference. I've yet to "test" the USB-C port to see what protocols it supports, but it doesn't seem to do anything quick-charge related.Overall, I don't regret my purchase nor do I feel the need to return this. If you can get one on sale like I did, I think it's a super solid little gadget.

Wont load to homescreen
It turned on and then wouldn't load. Tried resetting and didnt work. Was great for a month then hasn't worked since. Still keep trying. Loved the size and what it was able todo, was perfect till that.

Nice, but Faulty Keyboard after very little use.
While I like the portability of it, and it seemed solid, I hardly use it anymore after 6 months because as soon as I turned it on it would start throwing a letter into the password spot like a sticking key. Only way I can get in is to flip it into tablet mode and use the virtual keypad. Not sure if it is the button, or the board underneath that is doing this

This laptop's worth a spin.
Hey, as a young gun juggling remote work and craving some easy-breezy downtime, let me spill the beans on this 8-inch mini laptop.First off, this thing's design is spot-on. It's small, light, and easy to lug around—perfect for grinding away at a coffee shop or kicking back at home without breaking a sweat. When it comes to working remotely, the 8.0-inch screen gives me just the right space to peep documents and project plans. Plus, the touchscreen is a game-changer, letting me maneuver like a boss without all the hassle. For a casual gamer like me, this mini laptop holds its own. It's not some high-end gaming rig, but it gets the job done when I need to unwind and throw down a few rounds.Battery life? Clocking in at 3-5 hours, it's enough for quick sessions without stressing over an outlet. Charging up is a breeze, so no worries on that front.Overall, this mini laptop is my sidekick for flexing at work and kicking back with ease. Whether I'm hustling or chilling, it's become a key player in my day-to-day. If you're a hustlin' and chillin' kinda person too, this laptop's worth a spin.

Mini laptop super

Exactly What I needed
So, here is the thing. I am a consultant, I need to meet people at odd places at times. sometimes even do a presentation. This mini laptop does the trick for me. I can rotate the screen which is such an aweeeeeomeee feature and I can do a presentation in the car!! otehr times I can connect it to a projector and quickly show my numbers if the client wants to see. so its small size and light weight make it an amazing tool to carty arouondEspecially the rotation thingy of the screen is just mind blowing!!
