Useful product but doesn't stay on its stand. The magnets are not strong enouh

Works great, installs easy, can reach the whole bed. Magnet is pretty strong, I think the only reason I had to install the plate was my bed liner coating weakened the connection. If you have a non coated bed you can probably just mount to that. Feels like a solid and durable product.

I purchased this grab bar because things in the truck bed tend to end up by the cab necessitating me to climb into the truck bed to retrieve them. I'm getting up in age so the old knees don't like the step up and the climb down. This looked like a good deal that may solve my issue. The tool came packaged well. Got the expandable bar, the metal bracket to mount in the bed for the bar (if necessary), the hook, the L grab attachment, a carry bag, and some screws. The grab attachment is held on my a screw. The hook has the screw built in. You can only use one or the other, not both at the same time. So to switch from one to the other involves having a tool to remove or install the grab attachment. I have a factory sprayed liner. Must be thick on the side walls of the bed because the magnets do not stick there. I ended up putting the grab bar near the top of the bed below the bed rails where the liner is thinner or nonexistent. So far it has stayed there. But if you do use the magnets to mount the grab bar, you have to pay attention to which way the grab attachment is facing. Otherwise it will stick out into the bed. I read reviews where people state the grab bar is not very good as a push bar i.e. the bar collapses and not locking into place. This is the 3.0 version with the clip locks and magnets. I extended the bar to it's full length. I then pushed against the floor to make it collapse. I didn't try very hard as I didn't want to break it. I pushed pretty had and felt it collapse a bit. I think it will hold up so long as you're not trying to move something heavy.

The Magnetic Mounted Cargo Hook has been a awesome addition in my vehicle. The magnetic base isn't strong enough to firmly attach to metal surfaces, making it easy to fall in the bed of the truck. This is the reason for 4 stars. The 6.3-foot length provides plenty of flexibility for a variety of cargo management tasks. The hook feels sturdy and handles everyday use well. Overall, it's a practical, versatile, and easy-to-use cargo accessory that offers good value and helps save time. I ordered a separate set of magnets and super glued a couple extra magnets to the handle and now it holds tight and doesn't fall during driving.
