Better than any cold weather glove than any of the shops had.
OK, forget the fact that these are 1/3 to 1/4 the price of the gloves I was looking at in the cycle shops - these are better than they are. I got the XL and maybe should have gotten the XXL - but that's on me (and I'm not sending these back). I'm going to rub them with some mink oil and then they should be perfect.. These are the best winter gloves I've seen in 20 years (I've been riding for 45). The pluses are that they are leather, and they have knuckle armor. I like that the armor is inside - I don't like the gloves with the armor on the outside as though it is there for looks. Other than the knuckle armor they are like my favorite gloves from like 40 years ago. The only difference is that the gauntlets are a bit smaller - but my winter jackets are thinner than they were 40 years ago - so they actually work really well. No negatives so far for me.

Good buy for the money.
These are well made for the price. They fit well and meet my needs which is short 10 mile rides in temperatures down to 20 deg farenheit. I would recommend them if you are looking for an inexpensive pair of gloves.

Not winter use?
Ordered based on reviews. Got it on Sunday, and commute with it on Monday. Morning temperature was mid 50. Good for about 15 minutes, but unfortunately commute is 25. Last 10 felt hand slowly get cold. Might not hold up for actuall winter commute. It is less bulky than my electric heated gloves, and construction looks ok. Too many overlapping leather pieces and the leather feels thin. Well, hope it will hold up. Only time will tell.
