This is a great learning book, not just a quiz book, first read the facts and then do the quiz and see how much you have absorbed. Grandson age 8 loves it. One little tip, the answer to the number of planets in the solar system is one less than stated. I think the book was published before Pluto was declassified.

My kids pick a page of this book, read it all, then I test them with the questions. It's been great for developing their listening skills, and they love turning the tables and testing me with it! It's also good for them to use by themselves, and the graded questions make it suitable for both my 6yr old and 9yr old.

This is my son's (age 6) favourite book at the moment. He loves to dip into it to find facts, he loves to test his knowledge with the questions and he loves to question me and his father. The book covers a fantastic range of topics in a simple style which is very accessible for early readers. A great book which has provided hours of enjoyment.
