Love this bowl! Perfect for making large batches of sourdough bread, which was the reason for my purchase. Now I use it for everything. The lid has a tight seal.

I love this mixing bowl! I've been looking for a nice large bowl for my sourdough and this is perfect. I put the nice fitting lid on and I no longer need to use Saran Wrap. The quality and the size of the bowl is perfect for mixing the sourdough, plenty of room for the dough to rise and the weight is nice and durable.

I bought this glass bowl with a lid specifically for making sourdough bread. I’ve been using it during the bulk fermentation process, and I love it. The clear lid allows me to easily see the contents of the bowl, which is great for monitoring the fermentation. The bowl is also very lightweight, making it easy to handle. It’s easy to clean, and it’s a great option if you’re looking for a lightweight glass bowl with a lid.

I have had these a few days. They are fine. They are heavy. If I drop them I am hoping that they will not break into little shards of glass like a former bowl did BUT I am not going to drop it to test it out. They also lose a star as the lid is very difficult to pry off the bowl. I probably will not be using the lids at all because they are so hard to get off the bowl. Maybe it is just the yellow lids that are so difficult - I have no idea.

Used for a tuna salad for a group event. Put it on an aluminum tray with ice in the tray on kitchen counter with the lid on and serving utensils next to it so guests could help themselves.

Good versatile bowl with tight fitting lid (and at reasonable price) to mix larger volume items, messier items or other items to pre-prep for a dish, keep overnight and cook in a day or two. I've used it for cookie dough, meatloaf prep, apple pie filling to use in 1-2 days, several pounds of peeled potatoes in cold water to use the next day etc., etc.

Great large glass bowl or salad or can use in microwave when a large bowl is needed

It's larger than my 4 quart Pyrex, slightly lighter, and definitely holds more. The lid also fits perfectly and I believe is better than other brands.
