May or may not be essential..
Bought it just so we have the macbook new! But feeling it from our old macbook, we think its not important. The smoothness of sliding your fingers will surely disappear. Trade of from protection.

Perfect cut, but touchpad is much less responsive.
Fits perfect, but the touchpad does not work well after install. I had to click and double click for response. The issue is that the film is thick. Thicker than what I had previously used on my old MacBook Air. I just finally tore it off my touchpad after my frustration. Moral of the story, only use the palm guards.

Good install
Solved my problem of cold MacBook! Barely noticeable by me and not noticeable from afar. Be careful during installation because the sticky part will trap fingerprints.

ok... temporary?
Hard to install, messed up a few times since it's flimsy. Good thing it sticks even after removing it once or twice. WIsh this was a bit thicker and maybe the cut for the 2026 macbook air is just a straight line on top adjacent to keyboard.

Good product
It's a bit larger for a 13 inch, but I made it work.

Doesn’t fit m4 2025
Doesn’t fit. Says it fits a 2025 m4 air-it doesn’t. Goes over the keyboard and the side edge is too wide, even the curve in the bottom corner is too sharp, that’s why I couldn’t get it to the edges which made it also go over the trackpad. Also don’t get the clear version for obvious reasons seen in the picture
