These do a great job and you can't beat the price, I've always bought the more expensive thicker flap disc because they looked like they would last longer but I'm always frustrated with there tendency to round out at the edge far before the rest of pad wears, these are thinner as reflected in the price and they also round out at the edge but will still leave a flatter pad to work with, two of these Flapper disc will last longer and do a better job than one of the thicker disc and still be less expensive.......I highly recommend these sanding flap disc and will continue to use them.

I’m a beginning welder doing bodywork, so lots of grinding. I was pretty upset at the short life of $10 flap disks from Home Depot. Got these based on reviews. Well! These last much longer taking down welds, fast and smooth. They generally survive about 30 minutes of intermittent grinding (intermittent to avoid putting heat into metal.) With this price I feel they’re a great value. I’ll buy more once I’ve gone through the 2x10 packs I ordered.

These disc aren't the longest lasting flap wheels. I have had a good experience with them though. When you compare these to the locally purchased wheels in a similar price point, these last nearly twice as long. They don't compare to a high quality wheel that is priced at 10 times the price, literally. So I will continue to buy them and use them. The longevity for the price makes these a great buy.

just opened the box and these seem to be some pretty good discs. After using one of these for about 10 minutes it was pretty much played out. they remove material very quickly, almost to quickly if you aren't light on your grinder. all in all, they lasted about twice as long as the comparable discs from Bosch, but they cost one third the price. that makes them worth the 5 stars in my opinion. i will be ordering more to finish my project.

For the price, these disks are a really good value for home use. I used them to strip paint and rust from some really weathered patio chairs. I went through four disks, one per chair (approx. one hour grind time per chair). I'm certain I would have used at least two top-quality disks if I had opted for those, most probably three. Change out time was what? An extra sixty seconds? Seem like a no brainer with the savings. They are well balanced and they will tear flesh just as easily as the more expensive brands if one is not careful enough. Trust me on that.

It will strip off the paint super fast, is easy more efficient then a sander, just make sure there's nothing around that you don't want stripped cause these pads don't care and will decimate anything that in the way

These flapper disks are very good and a great bargain for the price. As other reviewers have stated, they do have a shorter lifespan than more expensive discs. You will have to change them more frequently, but they are cheaper. So it is all relative, because changing them takes literally no time. I would buy again.

These are decent replacement flap discs...they are rather fragile and shred too easily. Bottom line the name brand pads from Dewalt are better quality and last longer but are significantly higher cost. It is a cost / benefit analysis you will have to determine on your own. These pads are much less expensive but will need to be replaced much more often...overall I feel you will save money to accomplish the same number of jobs but you will need to change discs more often.

I bought 80 grit discs and they lasted quite a while stripping off stain. They are very durable and long lasting
