Brother Printer LC203M High Yield Ink Cartridge, Magenta, 550

I wish this stuff was cheaper and lasted longer, but it's what my printer uses and is more reliable than off-brands of printer ink. It works, I get it quickly when I order it, and it is easy to use.

Just wish they didn't dry out so fast

Received multiple cartridges and all having the bottom flap opened in same manner, typical orange tab found on new cartridges from in-store purchase missing. I am bait making any accusations but I will assume these cartridges to be refills rather than new.Submitted this review for awareness.

It works, and it is too expensive. I find the generic ones work just as well.

Easy to use

I purchased this cartridge as a replacement for a recently purchased defective cartridge which sat in my drawer for one month before installing. (These brother machines advise that ink is low when there is still much usable ink in the cartridge.)Both cartridges did nearly the same thing.They were loaded into the machine ( I have had no problems with this machine for over a year or with any cartridges before these 2) The LED and the computer's printer utility showed the cartridge in place and full ( I had also replaced the other 3 cartridges all showed full as well) on the 2nd cartridge, it never could locate the first cartridge. After install the machine runs a cleaning and alignment process, On the second Cart. I printed a page of text and the quality was poor and unusable. I did maintenance from the printer control screen - test page and clean heads. The first test page was poor on black all others fine, so the screen stated to clean heads again which I did.. A test page was ran and was much improved but the printer then notified that the black cartridge was empty and or could not be detected. I removed and reinstalled but still showed not detected and the printer utility on the computer showed the cartridge as empty. I dug my original cartridge ( LC207BK XXL) from the garbage and had it refilled at a local cartridge shop. It is working as it should, although I always have used original Brother inks I had to go this route . I tried to contact Brother directly but their e mail contact form returns a message of " we have a problem here" instead of being sent. Their online problem solving matrix was not helpful as these printers do not allow any printing unless all cartridges are installed and functioning. I am dead in the water as far as printing goes.I could not even print the return label for the first defective cartridge and had to order the label sent by mail from Amazon.

I have ordered ink from another company besides brother ink. I do not think brother ink lasts as long. I’ve gone through several packagesAnd I don’t print that often. Just for personal use. I mostly print in black but colors go fast. And my printer will not print without tge colors being full!

Works like it should. Great quality. But more expensive than some others that work almost as well.

The message "Cannot Detect" has appeared on the display of the Brother machine after installing the ink cartridge which I understand means its either broken, damaged or a non-Brother cartridge.

Works well in my Brother MFC-J680DW. Had to resort to brand name replacement cartridges as Brother snuck in a firmware update that made it so that aftermarket cartridges no longer work in the printer. If you haven't updated your firmware, DON'T, if you want to keep using aftermarket cartridges.

and its damn expensive for the amount of time it seems to last either when being used ot sitting there magically evaporating. Their ink is top quality and the pictures it prints are A-1 but I am just like mot people tired of paying so much $$$$ for ink that never seems to last that long.

did not fit my printer !!! Can not return it anymore ! I don't recommend this product
