I am actually mad I didn’t purchase this sooner. My bathroom fan was dying and I was dreading replacing it. This was the exact same model that was already in my bathroom. It was an absolute breeze to install and I think it only took about 5 minutes. I am not handy at all and I’m embarrassed I waited so long to fix this since it was so easy. The noise level is much improved from the broken one.

This was a perfect replacement for my 30 year old fan. It's actually the 2nd one I've ordered. One bathroom fan went out 2 years ago. This was for the other bathroom.

Exact fit. Relatively quiet. More expensive than some entire vent fan assemblies, but they were a different size and this was the only option for exact fit into the existing approximate 8"x8" opening. Easily inserted into the existing housing. Worth the price.

We could purchase a new Braun bath fan for less than this replacement. We did not need all the bath fan housing so I ordered this.And it works great and is quiet. The old one would get so noisy and off balance. The new one is great.

My 15 year old bathroom vent fan stopped working. I started shopping for a new replacement fan but I couldn't find one that used the same size ceiling opening. If possible, I wanted to avoid having to cut my ceiling. Plus I don't have attic access, so I needed a new fan that could be installed from below. That's when I found this Brown replacement fan motor. It's the perfect way to repair a broken Broan bathroom vent fan with minimal effort. The old fan motor and mounting bracket comes out after removing one screw. Then you slide in this new fan motor and bracket and reinstall the one screw to secure it. It took all of 15 minutes. The new motor is more powerful than the original motor (110 cfm vs. 80 cfm) so it's louder, but it does a much better job at removing moisture from the bathroom.
