Small gap for hand
The small gap had been mentioned by others, but the advantage of this is that your hand will not slip out when using it. Seems well constructed & the features are more lifelike than some puppets.

Her name is Penny Elizabeth Lily pad. She is funny, pretty, and easy to play with. When I grow up I will give my kids puppets instead of stuffies to increase motor skills, help social development, and you can take off the stick and cuddle them just like a stuffie! Very good.

I gave this to my 8 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She loves the puppet. She renamed her Emily. She looks exactly like the photo shown.
