Do they stick to the glass jars well? I dont want them sliding off

So far I have not had a problem with them sliding off the glass jars.

Are these available on a clear label instead of a black background?

No, as of now we only offer this set of labels on black background.

The labels have a glue-like substance as a backing so that they adhere to products (like glass and plastic containers), so I suspect "no" is the answer. However, I only store food products in glass containers so that labels can't "leach" thru the glass barrier. I've used these labels (and I love them) for at least six months). The labels don't emit a toxic smell or odor of any kind. The labels don't cause the food inside the glass canisters to taste any different or smell any different. I would NOT let these labels come into direct contact with any food items, however, they work well with glass canisters.

Can you write on the pre printed labels ?

Yes, there are also several blank ones included in the back of the packet. I bought a white sharpie, and it worked great.
