Yamaha NTX3 NT Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Nylon-String Classical Guitar With Reinforced Carrying Bag, Natural

I did MANY hours of research on the internets to find a good entry level guitar. This is the one. Super happy. Sounds even better plugged. Did not play guitar before purchase. Trusted the various reviews online. Did need slight adjustments, but comes from factory extremely playable . Had slight fret buzz. Needs some sanding. Typical. Other than that — You really can't go wrong.

O violão é muito bem construído, as madeiras são maciças (nogueira nas laterais, muito bonita, abeto no tampo, ébano na escala e mogno no braço) o violão é flat, com sistema triplo de captação atmosfeel e largura na pestana de 48 mm (o tradicional clássico é de 52 mm). Pestana e rastilho são de material sintético urea. Segura bem a afinação, tenho há quase 1 ano e não apresentou nenhum defeito de construção ou acabamento. Vem com bolsa de transporte própria da Yamaha que é um show a parte, muito bem construída e no formato preciso do violão, melhor que um hardcase na minha opinião. Muito confortável de tocar e para mim que tenho mãos pequenas facilita bastante ter escala curva com menor largura, parecido com uma guitarra. Os compositores e músicos Rodrigo y Gabriela utilizam a versão top ele com a NTX 5e ela com a NCX 5 que tem medidas de violão clássico. Ótima aquisição, valor justo pela qualidade do material, quem toca plugado vai amar, quem toca apenas acústico pode preferir a linha GC 10 S( tampo abeto) ou C (tampo cedro) que são violões sem cutway e 100% formato clássico todos de madeira sólida e boa qualidade sonora e de construção.

Los trastes perfectamente colocados facilitan la ejecución, mientras que el diseño estético y los detalles pulidos la convierten en una joya visual. Ya sea para principiantes entusiastas o músicos experimentados, esta guitarra es una elección que combina elegancia y rendimiento.

I really wanted to like this guitar, it looks absolutely gorgeous! It also sound great in all the videos I saw. But then I played it and... first, there was a lot of fret buzz, especially in the D string. It was unavoidable unless you press the string while touching the fret, which is not feasible when playing chords. The buzz was also there for the A and low E strings, but not as much. Now I know this can be fixed by a luthier, but the guitar is brand new, I expected better from Yamaha. That said, even when playing while ignoring the fret buzz, I found the sound lacking... it sounded way better plugged in. But unplugged, the sound really leaves a lot to be desired. This part is subjective, but it was the deal breaker for me, not the tone i want in a classical guitar. I want a guitar that sounds good both plugged in and unplugged, and this one wasn't it.

I love this guitar. It came stringed and ready to play out of the box. It takes two AA batteries. The built-in tuner works fantastically. After regular string break-in, it holds the tuning well. When I first learned to play guitar as a child, I had a Yamaha classical guitar. I opted for the black finish and it came without a blemish. It did not require any adjustment to the tress, but an Allen wrench was included. This guitar, for a mid-range priced affordable replacement of that childhood guitar, is a huge upgrade. It has a very intuitive crossover that readily and easily changes the dynamic sound through and amplifier. And, at this price point, you will be hard-pressed to find a factory classical guitar that delivers like this one. 10/10
