Reduced Number of Ports Needed
Well made, compact, and light-weight...with the combination of ports I need. The power-data link is perfect and saves a laptop port. Output cord could be a bit longer, but that could add too much bulk....I use a lengthier data extender anyway.

Solid hub, with a few minor issues
Overall this is a good little hub, with only a few minor quibbles. It's an attractive and nicely designed unit, and I love the port options it provides. The HDMI works great at both 2k and 4k, and the USB transfer speeds are good, as well. The ethernet port is a little jiggly, which so far hasn't affected performance, but does make me a bit nervous about long-term wear and tear.I, personally, find the cord length a tad awkward. It's not long enough to tuck out of the way, but it's not short enough to lie neatly near the laptop, so at present it kind of juts out like a tree branch. However, design of the unity itself is sleek enough that it all still looks clean and tidy. The only other issue I had was driver related. My situation is unique, though, so bear that in mind. I'm running a dual-boot Mac/Win laptop. The Mac side recognizes all the ports flawlessly, but when I boot into Windows 10, it doesn't see the ethernet or SD card reader. In poking around online, users from other hubs with similar ethernet issues have found success by manually installing a generic Broadcom NetXtreme driver; so far, I can confirm this does indeed work. I was able to get the SD card reader working by re-installing the generic MS driver, and then I had to manually assign a drive letter to it in the disk manager; after that, it worked flawlessly.Otherwise, it's small, easily portable, looks nice, the video quality is great, and for most uses works exactly as expected.***Update: I did reach out to the company initially for tech support. Although they were ultimately not able to help (I wound up troubleshooting the driver issues myself), I am very impressed with how quickly they responded, and they were polite and did follow-up afterward to make sure everything was working. I've modified my review to reflect this, as I do appreciate their attempt to help***

Buying for a third time ... must be good!
This hub works well! I have a 2018 Acer Swift 7 and I've used the TOTU hub with it ever since. Works like a charm. Connects all my desktop stuff and my projector so my classroom and lessons run smoothly. I used the first one every day for 2 years, constantly using the charging port, before it started to get glitchy and the hdmi port died. So I ordered another one. It's a year old and still works fine. I'm about to order a back-up for just in case.... because this hub runs my life, lol.The one issue I have found with the TOTU is that you have to be careful with the power charging. If you use it constantly to charge your laptop, it'll shorten the life of the hub. When the charging cable has been plugged in for a long time the hub can get hot, so do not yank out other peripherals - esp the hdmi cable which is right next to it - or you'll shock your system. Do not yank the hub itself out of your computer with the power cable still plugged in (even though it is plug n play) or you may shock your system. I did this once when the hub was hot and my computer wouldn't read the usb c port at all for a couple of hours until it cooled down. Best advice is always unplug the charger first. Then others. Then disconnect from computer. If I were to ever switch hubs it would just be for that one issue. I'm eyeing the TOTU upgrade which is a little stronger in charging.

Amazing product
This little hub exceeded my expectation in almost every regard (OK fine it could cost a bit less - but you get what you pay for and more).First impression: it is much smaller than I expected and is feather light. The material looks quite nice (I have the grey one) and the build quality is excellent.Function test: everything works as they should on first try after connecting this to my Lenovo laptop running Ubuntu. The USB-C power passes through just fine and the laptop charges at full speed when the 65w power adapter is connected to the hub. HDMI is able to pass video/audio at 3440x1440@60hz to my ultrawide monitor with no observable issue(I don't have a 4K monitor so I can say how well it works at that resolution). Both card readers work with no problem. After an hour of continuous use (with power pass-through, HDMI and one USB3.0 port in use), the hub is barely warm to the touch. I have not tested the ethernet port, though the OS does recognized the ethernet port being present and unplugged.Minor issue: the HDMI output gets briefly interrupted if the external USB-C power is removed. Not a big issue since things come back after 2-3 seconds (though your windows may be re-arranged by the OS). The hub works just fine by drawing power from the computer. What can make this product even better: a slight longer cord will help. Is it possible to put another USB-c output? (though no other hub seem to have this either).

Very handy and useful!
This was the perfect hub for my work computer because I have 3 usb plugs on it as well as an hdmi but I didn’t have enough USB ports and the original laptop I was given had an hdmi port that did not work. This has also been useful for my MacBook since it is a usb. I can insert my memory card and both external hard drives while working on photography.I love that the cord adds some length and does not easily come loose like the port I have that has no chord and plugs into 2 of the USB ports on the MacBook so it’s constantly disconnecting. With this hub I don’t have that problem. It’s sleek in design and easy to carry around. It comes with a nice carrying case as well to keep it from getting scratched and helps protect from dust and damage when. It in use.Overall great buy!
