Another save the day moment brought to you by J-B Weld. This product mixes easily and goes on with great control over where you put it. Roughed up the steel surface with a file and it stuck on there really well. Used it to create a tighter fit for a seat mount that had wallered out where the stem fit in. It was fully dried in an hour and I was able to ream it out to fit the taper of the stem using a Dremel bit. Worked perfectly and seems like it will last. Excellent product.

I’ve used this before so when I needed something to hold some wire shelves due to some busted welds I ordered this. It did not disappoint. I opened the tube, pulled off about a marble sized piece, squished it with my fingers until it was one color, and then applied it. I let it sit overnight and it worked like a charm. I would definitely recommend keeping a tube of this in your toolbox.

Saw the ad and bought this to fix a loose connection on my chair. Application was easy following the instructions, mixed the putty, applied it, and let it cure overnight. It felt rock solid the next day, but after leaning back a few days later, I heard a creak and noticed the bond between the putty and the metal starting to give way. It probably isn't the right adhesive for vertical metal joints that take a lot of pressure. Thinking of trying standard A/B liquid epoxy next to see if it holds stronger.

then used a cotton swab to push it exactly where I needed it. It mixes fast and feels thick enough that it doesn’t run everywhere, which I liked because I don’t have a workbench, just a tarp on my apartment floor. It hardened up in about an hour. After that i took my little Dremel and slowly reamed out the hole so the stem could slide in with a snug taper. The fit is way tighter now and the chair doesn’t rock when friends come over for dinner. The part that made me really glad I bought it was realizing I didn’t have to replace the whole chair set before my lease is up. For a small tube, it solves a pretty big “oh no, my landlord will notice this” problem 🤷‍♀️.

I'll be honest, I ordered this by accident when I thought I was buying "regular" two part clear epoxy. However, once it arrived, given I was looking to attach metal to metal anyway, I reckoned I would give it a go why not. Incredibly easy to use, as it's a two part putty that takes a few seconds to mix. Slightly strong smell, but many adhesives have that. Was able to hang multiple metal hooks on a metal bar in a matter of minutes, very simple to work, easy cleanup. Left overnight before putting weight on hooks - been two weeks and still holding strong. Highly recommend for any metal to metal joins.

We had a radiator leak from top and when we took it off the wall, we saw it was leaking from bottom. received this and applied to the top and botom and works absolutely well. and it heats the same level. This product can easily be used for products reaching as high as 150 degree heat. Very impressive loved it.

Well written instructions that is easy to follow. Easy to apply. After about 6 weeks, I do not detect any evidence of any more leaks. Looks like it has worked well.

I've used various liquid metal and epoxy repair products over the years, but this SteelStik is one of the easiest to work with. Being a putty rather than a liquid, it's much simpler to mould, shape, and press into place, especially when repairing awkward shapes or filling gaps. Once mixed, it has a good working time and can be formed exactly where it's needed without running or dripping. After curing, it becomes extremely hard and feels very strong and durable. I've used it for automotive repairs and general workshop jobs where a strong metal-like repair was needed, and it's performed very well. It's particularly useful when you need to rebuild small areas, fill damaged sections, or make repairs that would be difficult with traditional liquid metal products. Overall, a versatile and very strong epoxy putty that's easier to use than liquid alternatives while still providing an excellent repair. Highly recommended

Was skeptical about this stuff but WOW it really works. I managed to get a nasty cut in one of my tire stems from having to saw off a stuck metal cap which caused it to start leaking air and made it impossible to fill the tire. Decided to order this stuff on a whim in an attempt to save on a costly repair or replacement and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I shoved a little piece into the gash and let it cure for a day and my problem is completely fixed! Tire has stopped leaking air and fills normally now and the patch feels totally solid, amazing product for real.
