Does the back rest stand up and it’s own and can it be leaned on?

The Back Rest does stand up on its own and could be leant against, however be aware that this is a small chair that comes folded flat and because of the material of construction i would not use it for someone who is large

What height is the seat I measured & it was awfully high

From floor to seat, it is 37cm- 14& half ins. Its OK. Serve the purpose

Images show people leaning back on it only when its against a wall, is this sturdy enough to lean on when it's freestanding at a desk for example?
