Now Foods Nutritional Yeast Flakes Powder - 284 g

Good quality! This is the best I've found in India so far and I've tried a few different ones here on Amazon. This one has large flakes and a true nutri yeast smell and taste. This is excellent for vegan recipes and in general for adding flavor to food. If you've never tried nutritional yeast before, you should know it is meant to smell funky and be very dry. That's good! (Another reviewer thought this was smelly and stale, but I've ordered this brand 3 times now and never had an issue with it being off) Size of container is way bigger than the volume inside, so that is weird. But these containers will be really nice to reuse, so I'm not complaining! Definitely try this one.

Good product

The product is old of June 2020 (bought in Jan 2023) and fake. As can be seen from the picture the bottle is full with thick flakes. I am using the original product from past 2 years and The original product is not even half filled and comprises of thin flakes. The seal on the cap is not that of now foods. Don't buy it and don't risk your health.

Good product, way too bigger bottle (wonder why), wish they reduced the bottle size and pass on that cost to consumers ( haha). The product is clearly over priced but given the need of these fortified food products, they are not our first / biggest battles.. Damn sticky if eaten plain.

It's just a bit too pricey, but the quality of product is really good. Whenever I'm feeling tired, I take a spoonful and feel refreshed in an hour or so. I liked the flavor too and it does what it says.

The very first time I received this product it was very good. The quality was really good and fresh, I loved it. The second time I ordered it had some kind weird smell and taste in it like an old batch. The problem is the product is expensive and now when the product is opened I can’t return it. I’ve no other option other than using it.

Hands down, One of the best product for vegetarians. Complete source of B complex. Had severe deficiency. Started eating it during meals. After about one month, the deficiency was overcome when started noticing change in urine odour.

It really does replace cheese tastewise

We originally started buying Now brand nutritional yeast because it was one of the B-12 fortified brands that reportedly did not contain hazardous levels of lead. We have not, of course, analyzed the contents ourselves but are now in the habit of buying it because of the taste. It has such an amazing nutty, cheesy flavor, I find myself reaching for it to make sauces, add flavor to soup, add dimension to veggie stock (it will turn stock from clear to cloudy), top pasta, and more. Want something extra yummy for a sandwich? Stir Now Nutritional Yeast Flakes and a couple of crushed capers into Veganaise to turn a sandwich into a special occasion. As an added bonus, it adds a wonderful salty taste to food despite the fact it contains a measly 5mg of sodium in a serving. (I keep checking the label because I can’t believe it doesn’t contain salt!) It also adds a lot of flavor to salads, scrambled tofu, beans, and whatnot. But you certainly don’t have to be a vegan or vegetarian to enjoy it! Toss it on pizza, stir it in a casserole, or sprinkle it on soup if you or a family member needs a little extra protein and B-12. Sometimes we even put it in a shaker with granulated garlic and dried herbs and set it out by our pasta bowl so guest can try it as a pasta topping. Have fun and enjoy!

yummy! Ugly container, so I just transferred some into a mason jar. Great quality and taste! Pus if you're a VEGAN it's a great way to get that B12 in! Will but again when I run out

These are smaller in size versus other brands, but it tastes good, and still goes well with things like salad. Gives a nice cheesy taste but it's vegan.
