Absolutely the Best
I watched a mini-documentary about a chef who was rice obsessed. He spent years testing rice varieties and cooking techniques to make the perfect rice. I saw this colander in the doc a used google images to find it. It’s incredible. Rinsing rice, lentils, beans etc is soooo much easier with this design. The hole size is probably too big for quinoa and really small grain rice but perfect for everything else. I am super happy with this piece.

Nice and convenient
It’s perfect for a lot of rinsing. The holes are not great for rinsing rice. The rice will get stuck in the holes when rinsing but I have no problem with rinsing anything else. Love the color.

Brass dye transfers to water
I purchased this bowl for cleaning fruits and vegetables. Whatever the bowl is dyed with comes off in the water. I feel like it could be toxic. Definitely defeats the purpose of cleaning your produce.

Yeah, this is an excellent strainer and matching bowl to use for just about anything, but I mainly use it for my rice.
