Going good so far. Technican did a good job with the installation - I had to bear the price for the pipes which ideally should have come with the geyser.

I’ve been using the AO Smith Horizontal Geyser 15 L for over 2 months now, and it has been working really well without any issues. It heats water quickly, retains heat nicely, and fits perfectly in my bathroom without taking much space. Overall, I’m happy with the performance and build quality, and it feels like a reliable purchase.

I would not recommend this product due to the number of hidden and additional charges involved. First, the inlet and outlet pipes are not included in the box (which may be common with some geysers), but the company charges ₹1200 for a pair, which is quite high. The same pipes are available in the aftermarket for almost half the price. Second, they charge ₹1200 for a pair of angle valves, which is again very expensive compared to market rates. Third, tank cleaning or hard-water corrosion issues are not covered under warranty. If such a problem occurs, you have to pay around ₹1400 for tank cleaning. To cover these items, they push an AMC plan costing around ₹1500, which further increases the overall cost. Additionally, if you plan to install this geyser above a false ceiling, you must arrange a separate hole for the water overflow/air intake pipe. The exposed pipe does not look good aesthetically, and if this is not handled properly, water leakage can damage the false ceiling. Overall, considering all these extra expenses, the product is not affordable and does not offer good value for money. 6 Months of Use — Very Disappointing Experience After just 6 months of using this AO Smith geyser, I’ve already faced a foul smell issue and was told by the technician that I need to pay extra for tank cleaning. I had also contacted customer support regarding this issue, but the resolution has been disappointing. What’s more frustrating are the additional/hidden costs—tank cleaning, AMC, installation accessories, etc., which significantly increase the overall cost of ownership. For a product this new and under warranty, needing paid cleaning and maintenance so soon is unacceptable. I’m genuinely disappointed with the product and the after-sales service. I would not recommend this geyser based on my experience. Im using other brands geyser as well but never faced any single issue.
