Good Product Using since 2018

Well. I ordered these a few days back and got it fitted with my society plumber. The AO smith representative still made a free of cost visit to explain the operating mechanism for the same as we were having issues with the heating. We found out that this particular geyser despite being an instant geyser needs to be switched on 4 minutes prior to opening water tap to heat the water. So, better you go for a 10L geyser if you want to choose AO Smith for operating with hard water conditions for its unique glass tank and anode rod technology. After I was explained the correct operating mechanism, I am happy with the product performance, just that the capacity being 3 LTR. It's not sufficient to get steamy hot water full of a bucket of 15,L in one go. Perhaps I did not perform my homework before choosing the size of the product.

I think it is the worst choice one can make for instant water heater. The service is so worst that I had to call my plumber to install the heater properly. Let me explain my experience chronologically. The product came in proper packaging within the time assured by Amazon on 8th May. Then I received a call from AO Smith for installation. The guy who called me was very helpful over phone and he promised that he will come around 11am on 9th May. He has asked me to install the angular taps prior to his visit. But on next day he didn't turn up at 11am so I called him up. He said he may not come on today as he has a product demonstration to attend in his office. When I said I need it to be installed today only then he said he'll come around 3pm. Again he didn't turn up at 3pm so I called him again and this time he said he is not sure whether he can come or not. Then I asked him to handover the phone to his superior and that person ensured that he'll come by 4:30. Again he failed to come within that time and finally he turned around 5:30pm and after reaching he asked me to buy a 16AMp 3pin socket. When I went out to buy the socket he again called me up and said he need to connecting pipes each measuring 18 inches which he can provide but for that I need to an extra amount of Rs.450/- but I bought those pipes (good quality) from a local hardware store at a total price of Rs.200/-!!!! Then after fixing the pipes and 3pin socket he said the heater is not working and he opened up the outer casing of the heater and while doing that he broke one of the two indicator bulb holders. As you can see in the picture that one indicator is not working. He put the blame on Amazon for mishandling the package and some what managed to install the heater and almost flew off taking the service charge of Rs.250/-. As he left I turned on the heater to check whether the heater is working properly or not and as I turned on the heater one of the connecting through which hot water comes to tap came out of the joined as it was not properly fixed by him. I called him up immediately but he refused to come again and asked me to get it fixed by my plumber and for that I had to call my plumber and got it fixed. So, I am very very dissatisfied with the product and service of AO Smith. Won't recommend anybody to buy this heater and considering the standard of installation service I'll ask not to buy any product of AO Smith.

Bought in dewali sale for 3000 card discount 10%. You have to purchase gryser pipes which cost me around 430rs. Installation is chargeble not free for this model cost me 250rs Installation person taken additional 200rs for fitting pipe connection. You need to buy 3pin plug for the gryser cost around 100rs. Overall if you want to spent additional 1000rs you can go for it else go for the models which are giving pipes,plug free instalation. If they provide pipes and 3pin plug it's value foe money

Reviewing it after using it for one month. It is a very good product. Cut off time is merely 2 minutes. One advice i want to give everyone. This geyser is very light and can be installed by yourself if u have a drill machine. It is very easy to install. You have to buy a 16 ampere plug and 2 geyser pipes. That's all. I didn't registered any installation call for this but still i got a call from ao smith installation guy and he told me that he will come in a day and there is an installation charge and if dont get this installed by them, there will be no warranty. This is false information. I cross checked this with ao smith. Ao smith service centre told me that installation charge is there but if i can install myself that doesn't violate my warranty. So dont fall in trap and even if u get it installed by them then buy 16 ampere plug and geyser pipes in advance from any hardware store. Service guy charge double for these things.

I have purchased 2 Nos. of AO Smith 3 Liter Instant Gyser after R&D and reviews of this. I'm reviewing this after 6 months. I have not used much or on daily basis. In my intermittent use, I found both geysers are performing well. Installation is done by company's person. The installation person behavior was good and on time on given date which is rare in such kind of job. I had to give him second call too for minor issue but he visited and resolve with same good behavior. After sales service is very important which I found good till date in my case. Till date I'm satisfied with the product. Will post another review again after using it in long run or beyond guaranty/warranty. One thing I would suggest, if company can provides standard installation accessories as an option which is suitable for this product.
