Isn’t this just Tylenol pm

YES! This is not the original formula of Percogesic. That contained phenyltoloxamine citrate, NOT diphenhydramine, which is just benadryl. The original was great. This is just Tylenol PM. Antihistamines don't work on pain. This is a total ripoff in my opinion, and deceptive advertising.

Has anyone had better pain relief with this than standard (200mg) ibuprofen?

YES!! so much better, use this all the time. It helps arthritis, muscle strain, cramps and headaches!! It’s a must have for me and my crew.

Is this the same formula as the Percogesic that was on the market 40+ years ago?

NO. This is basically Tylenol PM. It contains diphenhydramine, which is NOT any sort of pain reliever, it's an antihistamine and it makes you sleepy. The original formula for Percogesic contained acetaminophen and phenyltoloxamine citrate, NOT diphenhydramine. Phenyltoloxamine Citrate is also an antihistamine but it's difficult to find in any over the counter medications. I used to really love the original Percogesic but this ain't it. It's actually a scam. This is Tylenol PM, period. I don't know why the original Percogesic was altered in such a drastic manner but that's the corrupt pharmaceutical companies for you. Ban anything that simply works well so people in pain buy crap like Tylenol PM, aka Percogesic. The new coke...
