Bell Kids Protective Pad and Glove Sets

My granddaughter happily wears these for all of her biking adventures! She has even been seen wearing them in the house … They are quality that I’d expect from something that costs a bit more!

These fit my skinny 5 year-old girl, and they've protected her great through several falls while learning to ride her scooter, especially now that she is getting more bold and wants to go faster and make tighter turns. Every time she falls and gets up unscathed, I cheer, "Yay for protective gear!" Really! The neighborhood kids don't wear anything, not even a helmet, so I'm trying to make sure she gets how important these are. I'm SO glad it came with knee pads, elbow pads, and gloves. I've avoided much screaming and crying, and probably reluctance to learn to scooter, by having her wear all three. They fit her great a few months ago, but she says they are getting tight and she wants the next size up. But they are bigger than the Schwinn ones, which don't even fit my small-ish 2 year-old!

cute, nothing super protective but fine for the cost. way too large for my 2 year old. reviews said they run small. packaging says for 4+ and I'd say that's pretty accurate. I'll keep them till my little girl can fit them.

I bought this set because based on the reviews I had seen for similar sets, this seemed to run the largest. My 6 (almost 7) year old finally decided to try to ride her bike without training wheels, but insisted on padding. I looked all over Amazon and all the reviews for similar products had reviews that the product ran small, or fit well on a 3-4 year old. We are very satisfied with the fit of the pads. My daughter is petite for her age (about 42 inches, 41 pounds), but she is happy with the fit. The pack includes gloves, knee pads, and elbow pads. FYI- the knee pads and elbow pads are so similar in size and design that we had to use a sharpie to mark which was which so she could put them on independently. My only complaint is that the gloves are very thin. I don't think they would withstand more than one good fall before ripping. However, for the low price (currently $9), I am more than satisfied.

Its hard to tell from the picture but these DO come WITH both Elbow and Knee pads and of course the little gloves. These were significantly less then the "frozen" ones at academy sports. My daughter liked these much better. She just turned 3 recently and these fit her really well. She'll be able to wear them next year as well. She doesn't like to wear the gloves but she loves to put on the knee and elbow pads as she thinks the are really cool :-) These are a must have for the littles learning how to ride. Saved us from lots of boo boos!

My 4-year old daughter absolutely loved these pads. She is very picky about comfort and has said they feel great. The pads are also tough and do their job! Within a week of getting them, my daughter flipped off her scooter going down a hill and walked away with no scratches or scrapes. I was absolutely shocked! A worthwhile investment that taught my daughter a valuable lesson on the importance of safety pads.

The price was right with this one. The elbow and knee pads work great. Of course we have yet to have any true disasters in them, but my 2 year old sure likes to look the part and they feel sturdy - much sturdier in fact than t he Disney Princess ones her older sister has. The gloves are tiny and got lost early on, but the knee and elbow pads look comfy and like they will do the job.
