Doesn’t fit a standard 42 gallon garbage can.
I’ll break my review into 3 parts.Packaging: these are packed into the box by taking all of the bags, laying them flat on top of each other in a stack then folding them in half, then folding that in half and then folding them in half again. In other words, good luck removing one bag at a time. Pretty lame.Size: maybe they hold 42 gallons but they don’t fit a standard 42 gallon garbage can. The diameter is too small to make it over the edge of the can. Close to useless for my intended use as a result. Again, pretty lame.Durability: they’re a 6 mil garbage bag. They’re thick and hold garbage without tearing easily.Only way I’d say this is the product for you is if your intended use will use all of the bags in the same day and if you’re using them for clean up of demolition or something else where you’re going to forgo putting them in a can.Overall, pretty bad.

Perfect for home renovations and auto
I purchased these bags so I could have some sturdy bags to dispose of material during our bathroom renovation project. I tried using regular garbage bags but all they do is rip and tear when I place too much material in them. I have used these bags to dispose of drywall, old drywall nails, fiberglass, dried up mortar, and even nail strips for holding down carpet. These bags hold up great! I even use these bags to ship back old oil whenever I do oil changes since the place where I purchase my oil has lifetime warranties on oil! All I have to do is put the old oil in the containers and then place into these bags before placing them in a shipping box. These bags make sure oil does not leak out into the box. I will continue to use these bags in the future.

Super Strong and Big
These are all they're advertised as and more. While they might seem pricey, we don't use very many. But when we have something heavy or especially sharp or unwieldy -- these are the best things in the world to use. The thickness far exceeds anything found in a typical store. The size is great. And while there is no tie built in at the top, you have to figure out how to wrap it up as you see fit -- not a deal-breaker for me at all. I'm so glad I found these -- I think the number in the box we got (which is heavy!) will last us for a long time. Great item!

So far EVERY bag tears open at the bottom seam
Even when only partially filled. I've used four of these bags so far and every single one has tore at the seam at the bottom, directly in the center. In the middle of a demo project so I can't return them... I'm just going to have to duct tape up the bottom before filling the bags.If you're looking for something to securely hold debris, especially if you're trying to contain anything dangerous like asbestos or mold, steer far clear of these bags.

Wow, these bags are tough!
These are the thickest, toughest bags I've found. I use them in a galvanized steel can, to collect kitty litter. When the can is full, I add the household garbage and take it to the dumpster. The can holds upwards of 50 pounds of litter, and add in the household garbage, you get aboutn75 pounds a trip. Also factor in sharp pointy things, can lids, bottles, etc., from the garbage, and you've got 75 pounds of potential disaster. The trip to the dumpster includes frequent scuffs against asphalt. These bags don't break a sweat, They just perform. Will buy again and again.

Incredibly Thick.
I use these as pack liners for large Duluth #3 Canvas Packs. (Canoeing)I use these to store clothes in a very dusty outdoor environments. (inside Duffel bags and Duluth's, as well large dry bags. (camping in SW Utah/Arizona Strip))Would also be use-able as a garbage sack in which to toss more flimsy leaf and lawn bags. (Again for long term truck camping). Finally I believe that these would make good body disposable bags, although you would need several very reliable closure ties, without breaking your budget. (Think TV series "Dexter")

Tough, tough, tough
Bought these to transport lava rock, which is heavy and abrasive. Got one small hole from dragging across something. These were in such good shape when we were done, I saved them for re-use. These are kind of pricey, but you get what you pay for. Get cheaper, thinner bags for single use tasks like garbage pickup. It would kind of a waste to use these for that.

Perfect for Demo Work
After demoing an entire room and filling 10 of these bags with drywall and broken floor tile I can attest to the durability of these bags. They performed exactly as I had hoped and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone undertaking demolition work that produces heavy odd shaped waste. No failures and no tears at any time. Overall, an excellent product.
