Makes very good cigar glue
I roll my own cigars and use this for the glue on the wrapper. Works great and you don't ever taste it. Mix little bit about the water then let it sit for a day until it's clear and about the color of a pale honey.

Excellent quality
This is a rare find. It is extra fine, perfect for making the binder for paint-making. If you can't find Kordofan gum arabic crystals for binder production, this one is an excellent choice.

Making watercolour paints
Way better value than buying gum Arabic branded specifically for Art endeavors. I have been using this in the making of my own pearlescent watercolor paints in full pans and have zero complaints. I’ve never used any other brand of gum Arabic or ever made pearlescent watercolor paints before so I do t have anything to compare it to. But in practice, my paints haven’t cracked in the pans when dried out. Once dry in the pan they rewet very nicely, they flow on the page very well, and bloom extremely well in wet into wet. And the pearlescents and Micas stay on the page with no sparkle fallout or liftoff once the paint is dry.

Wonderfully fine powder, but transfer immediately
This works as any gum arabic should. The powder is wonderfully very finely ground, so it mixes very easily. I recommend that as soon as you open it, you transfer it to some other container. Because it is so finely ground, any tap on the package will send clouds of gas gum arabic flying out! This happened even though I had only cut a very small corner of the pouch, and the pouch was still upright.

Great for watercolor paint binder
This made very nice watercolor binder, a light golden color just like I saw in tutorial videos on tiktok and youtube. I bought another gum arabic (AKA acacia senegal) brand but it turned into a darker amber color which impacted the paint color a bit. The 4oz size is enough to make a 2-4 small batches of binder, and should be enough to make several dozen half pans of paint. For reference I used about 1oz gum arabic to make the watercolor binder in the jar with the checkered red lid, and that is enough to make at least a dozen half pans alone!

Worked for me
I used this to make homemade permanent watercolors out of Pearl Ex pigments. I knew full well this was food grade gum arabic but tried it anyway. It's been weeks now and I use the watercolors fairly frequently and have had no issues with growth or mold, as long as I give the pans sufficient time to try before closing and sealing the palette. They dry pretty quickly, within minutes in most cases. The watercolors I made do have a smell, but it smells like Elmer's glue and not rot. The paint I made with them adheres to the paper incredibly nicely. I would absolutely buy this product again for making more watercolors.
