It pays to spend more for better tools when making jewelry. These pliers are good quality and will last longer than most others. I like the grip on this pair.

These are just wonderful; They feel great to use even though I have small hands. This is a quality plier and I know for a fact they will not rust! (living in Hawaii can do that to cheaper metal). I bought an entire set of "supposedly top of the line pliers" at the Tucson Gem Show 8 years ago. I really didn't use them and had them in a drawer.They were made in Sweden. They ALL got completely rusted and cruddy. Thankfully the company that sold them refunded my money. The Wubbers I had purchaed about 4 years ago stayed looking brand new; NO rust! Yay for the USA and for a "Woman Owned Company" I am using the refunded money to buy only Wubbers Wonderful Pliers!

Wow! This is so great tool. I’ve bought many different brand, mostly cheaper than this one, and always had problem with scratching the wire while using other jewelry plier and then found this one! It really does work! Thank you

Pretty good but I could do without the grip texture. I put vinyl heat shrink wrap on them.

Have a good hand feel, very comfortable. Made well, grip is very comfortable. First pair of “good” pliers I purchased and it’s really made a difference!

I bought Tronex and wubbers to compare and I have more wubbers pliers so I use them more often but love the tronex as well. I only have the flat nose and chain nose in the tronex. So here is the scoop...the Tronex chain nose have a thinner head than the Wubbers but the Tronex have a rounded edge which is nice. Both are smooth and both are nice in my hand. The Wubbers have a longer handle but the Tronex have a cushier handle which can be bulky and come with little red caps on the ends which is a nice touch. If you need more cushion go for the Tronex. I have to say in all honesty you can't go wrong with either brand.

I am a Jewely Craftsperson and the "Wubbers" are excellent tools! I had been using the same "Flat-Nose" pliars for about 7 years and they ceased to perform as they became "sloppy". The "Wubbers" took some getting used to as they are heavier and sturdier than my old ones, but the more I use them the more I like them. When I need new tools, "Wubbers" are what I will purchase!

I first ordered the baby Wubbers in the chain nose to try them out. I loved them so much that I ordered this regular size. I have small hands so was a little concerned that since the baby Wubbers fit my hands so well these might just be too big. Not the case at all! They are larger, but just as easy to handle. In my opinion you can't ever have enough pliers and the more Wubbers the merrier!
