These are excellent! I was a bit hesitant to try them as the packaging is odd to me so I was not initially attracted to the product (I am a Gen X and I don't "get it"...it is like some weird video game theme,..makes no sense to me). Regardless, I the and when I tried it (because of the posts on Insta), I immediately ordered the kiwi (level 3) and orange (level 4). The posts are for real!...IT IS SOUR!! I appreciate that it is real fruit. While a bit pricey, I can feel "better" about eating these as opposed to the sour candy with all kinds of preservatives. A couple of pieces is satisfying for my sour cravings and these are actually more sour than other sour candies. HOOKED!

I had originally ordered the variety 6 pack, and one of those 6 were these level 4 green apples. They were super sour, they tasted amazing. So I wanted to buy this 4 pack to have a good supply. Boy was I disappointed. All 4 bags were barely sour and tasted like chemicals. It was so bad to the point that I could not bear to swallow most of them. I have no idea what was so different about these packs than the other one I had, but the inconsistency in these products is enough to make me never buy them again.

If you’re looking for sour candy, this isn’t it. It’s basically green apples with the legal minimum amount of sour dusting. Ever had sour gummy worms? They’re more sour by a decent margin. If you’re looking for a candy that’s better for you or your kids health wise, this is probably it. But don’t fall victim to the marketing that makes it seem like these are “extremely sour.” They aren’t.

Super tasty, great texture, but they're only about as sour as sour patch kids. I personally sprinkled in a little extra citric and malic acid that I got for making my own gummy candies and that made them perfect for me

I have had FBS a couple times now and every time it has been inconsistent. I wanted to order these Level 4 Sour Apples because a friend of mine let me try them out, what I remember was his apples were a lot more of a drier texture and extremely sour, but delicious. The order I received unfortunately matched the sourness of a level 1, my bag was also very wet and gooey. The fruit itself is delicious but I’m also expecting lots of sour but I’m left hanging. I love sour candy, I love the simplicity and natural ingredients, I love supporting small businesses but with that being said I know that what you pay for might be high, but trust me if the product was what it claims to be and consistently so, so would the frequency of my orders of FBS.

I recently tried the Final Boss sour candy, and wow, it really lives up to its name! At first bite, it's like a burst of sourness that hits you right in the taste buds. Honestly, I love sour candy, but this one is on another level. I found myself making some funny faces while eating it, which just added to the experience! But here’s the thing—don’t go overboard! I learned that the hard way. After a few pieces, I started to feel a bit of soreness in my mouth, so take it easy if you decide to indulge. It’s definitely a fun challenge for sour lovers, but moderation is key. Overall, if you enjoy extreme sour candy and want to test your limits, Final Boss is definitely worth a try! Just remember to keep a glass of water handy! My mouth is watering already just typing this

So I don’t know if I just got a bad batch or what but I’ve had fresh snow flakes fall on my tongue that were more sour than this. This is only sour if you think mayonnaise is spicy. My 2yo who is scared of orange juice because it’s too sour ate half a bag. Their LVL 1 strawberries were at least 6x more sour than this (rating on personal subjective comparative scale of sour). I’ve had m&m’s that made me pucker more. Waste of my money and my time. When I eat sour candy I want to fear the next bite. I’ve loved the LVL 3 stuff for the last year and was so excited for this but I have never been more let down (except by Bethesda but who hasn’t). Let me know when yall have something that will make me regret getting out of bed that morning. Fix this so it can actually live up to its so called level rating.
